One year ago today Charlie Kirk was taken from us. He wasn’t a dictator, or criminal. He didn’t threaten anyone. He didn’t talk down to anyone. He was killed because of his words. His kind words. His platform was three things; God, family, country. He left a hole that still hasn’t been filled and probably won’t be filled. His show on Real America’s Voice (RAV) is still on with the same name and same timeslot.
Even with his passing, he still brought us together. Tens of thousands of people attended his memorial service in Arizona. President Trump and Elon Musk were there and made up. As for me, myself and a handful of the crew in DC went to a memorial service. I brought my daughter along because I didn’t know that she watched Kirk on YouTube. The memorial program was more inspirational than any church service I’ve been to. Hell, it was a church service. And in the Kennedy Center were Speaker Mike Johnson, RFK Jr, Karoline Leavitt and Tulsi Gabbard! As well as 84 other members of Congress! I told my daughter she was in the same room as some of the most powerful people in America. After the service Ed Huebner and I met up for some drinks. We were mostly silent for once.
As for the rest of us we will not be stopped and we will not be intimidated. Charlie inspired us to carry on. And all we’re doing is telling the truth. Here’s our show the Saturday after his passing.
