With Abdul El-Sayad winning the primary for US Senate in Michigan, Fox News kept showing a clip of social influencer Hasan Piker cursing people not supporting El-Sayad. Then Fox and other media outlets kept showing clips of Piker. It turns out that Piker is a popular podcaster. Just like 75 Radio! We watched Piker some more and did a little research into him and came up with the very educated conclusion: Hasan Piker is the Jim Cornette of podcasting!
Cornette made a name for himself as an obnoxious, loudmouth that came from money. He carried around a tennis racket to portray himself as a member of a country club. This was not the case. It was a “gimmick.” Hasan Piker yelling, screaming and praising the virtues of communism is a “gimmick.” Piker is a multimillionaire who lives in a $3 million dollar house and has a Patreon account! He’s Jim Cornette in reverse!
As for us, we are the exact same people on the air as off the air! No radio voices, scripts, gimmicks, bits, radio personalities and in many cases; no preparation! Mike finds a way to insult Scoop, Walter gives someone the business if he feels he is wronged, Scoop cracks bad jokes when friend Tony Sabio gives him a shout out at his own event and Danila is always drop dead gorgeous!
