By sheer coincidence Walter and I share birthdays less than a week apart. I’m pretty sure his birthday went something like the video above. Mine; not so much.
My wife wanted to do what we did for one of my kids earlier this year. She wanted to rent a movie theater and watch a movie with me the wife, and mother in law. You know what suffering men say: “Happy wife, happy life.” I don’t have any friends in DC so I can’t do anything with anyone. The movie theater was able to play Dvd’s in all of its theater at once if need be. The theater had Toy story and two other shit movies playing. So I had to act fast. I went on Best Buy and bought a copy of “The French Connection” sent by UPS. Cheap it was not! When it came, little did I know it was in Blu Ray! Hot damn! The day before the “screening” my wife tells me that our youngest wants to go because he feels left out. Jesus Christ! And I didn’t want to go in the first fucking place!!!!
So we get there and my mother in law bails thanks to the monsoon of 2020. So we watch Toy Story. It’s not as good people say it is. To ease my pain I snuck in a can of the famous Narragansett Larger, made famous by Robert Shaw in “Jaws.”
Overall a good time was has by none. I can’t find a good birthday fail video!
