The show must go on!

Saturday night me, Walter and Mike were loaded for bear taking about the steal of the century on our conference line . I went on first, then Walter, then we herd something like you hear when you lose your connection. I heard our producer calling for us, I’m yelling back, then I tell Walter and Mike to keep gong in case we were on I also reminded them not to curse. I got my other phone and called in the various numbers for Liberty News Radio. I heard our nice producer lady, but she couldn’t hear me. Mike and Walt kept going. Finally Liberty News Radio owner Sam Bushman called me and said that something happened with the connection, from his phone provider. Liberty News Radio has technology that makes the NSA jealous. Sam said that since we were live, we would be out of commission until his phone provider could fix the issue. So I told Walter and Mike the bad news. We were essentially talking to ourselves at this point. So; instead of calling it a night and getting a cold one, we kept talking to ourselves on all the bullshit with the election. We did it without commercials, without interruption, and without an audience. We are so passionate about the problems we as a nation face, we don’t care if people are listening or not. I can’t tell you how many of my conversations with Walter, Mike, Sean, Jim or Sam are so good they should be on radio! We have to be as informed as possible so we put out a good product. If we are not prepared, it shows,

A couple of minutes after the hour we decided to wrap it up. For shits and giggles, I did a closing statement: “For Walter Yurkiw and Mike Garren, this is Peter “Scoop” Stanton wising everyone a great week!” Then our not so sex intern puts it into perspective. “We had just as many listeners on our phone conversation, as we do on the radio!” Thanks Mike!
