This past Saturday Walter and our Marketing Director Mike Garren, better known as our not so sexy intern spent the hottest day of the year at the I-75 Speedway for some racing. The reports I got from Mike and Walter was that it was very hot, and they were well taken care of. Walter got to go into the announcers booth and give a plug for The Seven Five and 75 Radio. Walter was able to do it without any foul language! Thanks Walt! The announcer even said that he listened to some of the shows! Thanks announcer guy who I didn’t get a name from Walter or Mike.
As for the people at the track, including drivers, pit crews, track staff, and racing fans, I’m told you couldn’t have been nicer! Why not? We (me, Walter, Mike) are your people. And you are ours. Congrats to Mitchell Childress for having the best looking race car. That fifty came right out of Mike Garren’s pocket from the Garren Gentlemen’s Club funds.
