Donald Trump signed another Executive Order prohibiting tax money going for National Public Radio and the Public Broadcasting System. As someone in the business and a taxpayer: thank God!
Both organizations are not subject to ratings, finding sponsors or providing content people want to enjoy. Both organizations are very left of center.
Show us anywhere in the US Constitution where it says the state has to provide any entertainment!? We’ll wait. But like most government programs, NPR and PBS has outlived its usefulness decades ago. We went from three channels to numerous channels on broadcast television alone. With cable television we have literally hundreds of channels. And with smart tv and streaming services, we literally have thousands of channels to choose from. I have a Amazon fire stick and I still don’t have know the exact number of channels I have to watch!
As for radio, we have live streaming all over the country. Sunday Scoop listens to WABC in New York through his television! Most of our listeners come from our livestream, not from our affiliates! And those who miss the show can listen free of charge on YouTube and podcasting services!
As for content, all liberal content. I remember living overseas and in the middle of the day there was an hour of NPR on American Forces Network (AFN). The most liberal garbage I ever heard. And USAA underwritten that hour! And critics say that’s the end of Sesame Street. Well, Sesame Street went to HBO! And that was liberal propaganda! You might as well call Democracy Now Daily Worker tv!
And PBS was very slick in terms of fundraising! They would broadcast programming that people would want to watch in the middle of a fundraising drive. Every time there was a concert some music special. They would have a boatload of interruptions for fundraising! So dummies would give some money for more rock concerts and the next week; boring crap!

Texas Governor Gregg Abbot signed legislation that provides vouchers to parents to send their kids to private schools! As a parent of kids in public schools, this is music to my ears. As a Northern Virginia resident, I made it a point to speak with Virginia Governor Glenn Younkin and begged him to do something about school choice. He did have legislature presented in the legislature, but it got voted down. I had to deal with distance learning, strangers approaching my youngest kid on school grounds and the school waited 40 minutes to call the police. And they used the non-emergency number. I had to deal with rainbow flags in classrooms, pronouns, and a principal driving drunk one school holiday that got into a motor vehicle accident when a single-family house jumped in front of his pickup truck! Then there’s the “childless lesbians cat ladies” on the school board that thwart the will of the parents, governor and US President!
Some of you might say: “Well Scoop, you could send your kids to private schools” Well no. First; the cost of private schools were way out of our reach. My ex wife spent the majority of my marriage either not working or working part time! And now were divorced now two properties, two separate insurance policies, and a ton of debt I incurred because of the former Mrs. Stanton! Not to mention, the cost of these schools are as much as college tuition. Even if we could afford to send our kids to private schools, most likely we still couldn’t send our kids to private schools because they are filled to capacity! You see these DC liberals are all about public schools; for your kids, not theirs!
And the teachers union is all up in arms. I see a long court battle as the teachers union don’t want to loosen their grip on our kids or be held accountable!
Folks; America is broke! We can’t borrow money from China to give to Ukraine! The party is over. Donald Trump is draining the swamp and the people here are going nuts! There is nothing in the US Constitution says that the federal government’s mission is to hire as many people as they can, pay them more than the private sector and give them better benefits than the private sector. Washington DC is something else. A town full of civil servants and everyone drives a nice late model car. Starter homes start at $500,000. There are no pawn shops and very few payday loan stores (thankfully). There are also no check cashing stores. People like to eat out and go on vacations. The cops, firefighters, nurses, teachers, bartenders and cooks have to drive an hour or more to go to work. We are not against capitalism or success by any means. We work hard so we can succeed. But why are the people whose job is to serve the American people, living better than the American people!?
This was to me the best CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference). It was held once again held at the Gaylord National Resort in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Thursday I rolled up early as Vice President Vance was to speak. Little did myself and a whole bunch of media know was that the line for media creds would be closed from 9am until 10:45. So no Vice President Vance! Luckily I left all my radio gear in the car. We had to get through Secret Service screening so people were bringing all their gear with them. I had a phone, notepad, pen keys and coffee. On the way to the hotel, I wanted to get cash. And the Gaylord only takes plastic! Day one at CPAC and I can’t contribute to “Liberty Roundtable.”
As I’m standing to get my creds, I see world famous fashion designer Andre Soriano! He was there as a media member! And unlike me, he has his creds! The man knows everyone. He is everywhere. He does everything! How does the man sleep!? As I’m walking down Radio Row, there were more media there than last year. Newsmax, The Epoch Times, Mike Lindell’s outfit and many others were there. As I’m looking around, I see a familiar couple: Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Kucinich! Elizabeth stepped away and so I went to Rep. Kucinich. But just before, I did what I did best: text James Edwards. He sent a pic of himself with Kucinich! Holy Dogshit! I introduced myself again. I told Dennis how we met 13 years ago at Dulles Airport. I asked what he was doing at CPAC. He said: “these are my people.” I was blown away. Here’s a man who I disagree with 99%. I was blown away.
With the pardoning of the January 6th trespassers, there were a lot of these people telling the same story. They were roughed up by the feds. Their due process rights were eliminated. They were abused in jail. As their lives were falling apart in jail, they missed court dates for divorce, child custody, and bankruptcy. These men came out of jail with scars and broken bones. But these men’s sprits were not broken!
I reached out to “75 Radio” guest and now friend Christopher Martini. He said he’ll meet up after Elon speaks. Elon Musk was not on the list! So I went into the ballroom. British politician Nigel Farage came on. Here was a Brit who loves America more than your average Democrat. Then a dude from Newsmax came out with something about DOGE. Then he introduced Elon Musk who came out and the crowd roared. Argentina President Javier Milei presented Musk with a chainsaw! The crowd roared! Musk was very personable, funny and to the point. He had a couple of good points.
“The left wanted to make comedy illegal.” He also said: “Is the left even real” and “Freedom is priceless.” Musk also wanted to Audit the Federal Reserve and look inside Fort Knox. Musk also brought up the fact that $250 billion of COVID money went overseas! Musk also said SpaceX was also sued by the government for not having illegal aliens on the payroll. I also met Brian Bourne, lead singer of Under the Covers and the lucky boyfriend of Alessandra and Mike Wojtaszek, a/k/a DJ EchoMike. I was posing for a picture with these gentlemen and said: “By the way Mike I’m Scoop Stanton.” Mike couldn’t have been any nicer. He loved “75 Radio.” I couldn’t wait until the after party!
Then came Steve Bannon! He wanted conservatives to fasten their bayonets! He also said that MAGA for bringing the country in a new direction and called the mainstream media the propaganda department for the ruling class.
Afterwards, I went to a place for an afterparty for Steve Bannon. I think all of CPAC was there! Thankfully it was a two level bar. Top shelf booze. All free! But I did make sure those bartenders were taken care of!
The next day I went to CPAC and found an empty table on Radio Row. I fired up the old computer and was talking. This very nice lady told me to move. I felt like such a dirtbag! So; I found some space at a window. I got a hold of film director Christopher Martini who wore a “Make movies great again.” I was both proud and embarrassed of my homeless man studio! Chris killed.
Afterward he contacted Barry Morganstein, world famous photographer. He took many iconic pictures of the rock stars I love. He spoke to Sam and knocked it out of the park! He also took a selfie with me! I was touched! It’s like getting a guitar lesson from Jimmy Page!
Later on Friday I ran into Chris who introduced me to actress Martha Byrne. Her husband Mike McMahon is a retired NYPD Sergeant. He was framed by our government for doing the job he was hired to do as a private investigator! We went to lunch and I met John Shattuck. I call him “Johnny Three Phones.” It’s easier to pronounce than Shattuck. He is a former Navy airdale and works in the private sector. That’s all you need to know. I want him to come on “75 Radio” to talk about whatever he wants. I followed Christopher and John to Real America’s Voices to go on live, but they were bumped for the swearing in for Kash Patel.
We went to dinner. Well, some of us. Some had a liquid dinner. I met up with podcaster/actor/patriot Ian Trottier and another John (sorry I forgot your name John) and we went to a Asian restaurant. Chris, Johnny Three Phones, the other John and Ian were talking about the corruption of a high-ranking government official. And these men have the receipts! I was silent. I was too busy going: “WTF!?” After dinner, both solid and liquid. I went back to the Gaylord. Chris and Johnny Three Phones were going back on tv, Ian had something to do so me and other John went to the lounge. There I met up with Andre Soriano, Mike “King Photobomb” Foster, and Elisa Nguyen and others. John was talking about his time as a squid and a fed! John left and then I ran up with everyone else including Alessandra! I also met Rob O’Donnell! He was almost exactly like me. But better! He was former New York Transit Police (Black Patch)! I was in awe. After his long and decorated career he also hosts a radio show! After having a wonderful time with my new friends, I called it a night and went home before I turned into a pumpkin!
Saturday I booked Martha Byrne on Sam’s show. I only brought my radio equipment. Secret service was there. A nice doggy sniffed through the equipment. I met Martha and we found space on radio row. I was tickled pink! But the table next to us was empty and the other one was occupied by two men eating breakfast! I didn’t care! Martha came on and killed. She was a great guest but a very sad story. The next hour, I was looking for someone. John Shattuck was MIA and Ian was busy! So I found Retired Major Tom Haviland to talk about the jab. He was already on Liberty News Radio. I wasn’t interested so I texting the “75” Family.
I wanted to put my gear in the car and come back. But I couldn’t find a place to exit! I was locked in! There was a line to buy food but it was Gaylord prices! I found a very nice volunteer who let me store my gear in the exhibition area. I then went to see Lauren Witzke at the Lindell booth. That girl was working her ass off! Mike Lindell was also working his ass off. He was talking to someone about some media, talking on his phone, talking to Lauren and autographing books! Whoa! I told her who I was and James Edwards says hello. She took a selfie with me and she went back to work!
I went in the main ballroom. Tom Homan spoke and he was like George Patton. He told the drug cartels that are after him to “Come get some.” And said that we need to “fix the shit!” I was shocked as that’s Charlie LeDuff’s catchphrase. There were some other people who I didn’t care about including the Prime Minister of Italy via video screen.
Then it was time for President Trump! Matt and Mercedes Schlapp came down with no applause. Then Trump came in like It was like the Beatles coming in! He said he was “keeping our promises” and said it was common sense. He also recognized the President of Argentina and January 6ers. He also clowned Biden and the illegal alien criminals. He said that the illegal alien criminals were worse than the Hells Angels. Trump then said that the Angels love America! Trump also said that Jimmy Carter passed away happy as he was not the worst president in US history! Trump also talked about his accomplishments and what he wants to do next. It was a typical Trump speech. But I was glad I went!
Then it was the time for the best part of the weekend: The after party called: The Golden Age of the Magadonians featuring Under the Covers Band, DJ Echo Mike and Scoop!
James Edwards wanted me to come on. My friend Elisa Nguyen wanted to see “The Radio Guy” in action. I gave her a headset and let her listen in behind the scenes: commercials, Keith and weather to keep me for another segment or not! It was a good two segments.
Later as I was all set to go online for “75 Radio.” But the band was playing and Liz our producer can’t hear. I ran outside leaving my computer and equipment talking outside the phone again. Eventually I got my computer and got up and running. It was a great show despite my trips to the open bar. James Edwards was also listening with his daughter. I told Walter and Mike to keep it clean. No g strings or Tampon Tim gags. Also at the bar was Andre Soriano and Mike “The Photobomber” Foster. Mike is an expert sea captain. I told Mike I’d love go on a cruise on the Potomac with him and his crew. I told him about my experience in the Navy and I can make sure the head works. I also saw Andre Soriano again. As always he was a gas! I also texted James Edwards saying that I don’t know if it’s the booze, ok its the booze but I love everyone in our family! I held an exclusive after party from the after party at my hotel room. Some of you might want to go to the next paragraph. But; it was me, a bag of popcorn and The Godfather.
Now, do you think that Sunday my fun at CPAC was over? Hell no. As I’m heading to check out there was Ian Trottier. He called me over and we went to brunch and hang out to talk shop for a few more hours. Which was really nice. Ian is a really nice dude!
This was the best CPAC ever. And it wasn’t because of seeing Trump or staying in the hotel. It was the people. Not only the local gang here Mike, Andre, Elisa etc., but also the people that I just met. Mike, Chris, Barry, Martha, John Shattuck, the other John, Ian, Martha, Rob, Sherry Morgenstein, and everyone else I forgot. I just met these people. They treated me like family and they didn’t know me from a hill of beans. This is what its all about! I met too many fake phony, frauds and bullshitters and grifters. Not these people. They all made me feeI like a part of their group. I look forward to working with these people and a long friendship!
I need to thank the entire 75 Radio family for their support and especially Danila for not only giving me a sense of fashion but saying she was proud of be for getting the table at Radio Row! She believes in me as much as I believe in myself, which I really appreciate.

She has done so much for me and “75 Radio.” The after parties meeting up with Chris, Barry, Mike which led me meeting so many other awesome people I met. She too was also very proud of me for sitting at a table at CPAC. She also believes in me and “75 Radio.” It’s people like Alessandra that I work so hard for “75 Radio.”

According to the same article, the Department of Health and Human Services gave Politico over $200,000 for subscriptions and the Department of Energy paid $200,000 and the Department of the Interior gave Politico $400,000!
We don’t care if USAID gave $1 to Liberty News Radio! Its the government buying influence! Its called “television programming” for a reason! The Deep State and dumpster fire media is upset that we pulled the cord from the Matrix! And with this Trump presidency, more cords are going to be pulled!
