Us vs them

By: Scoop Stanton

Recently I’ve noticed a couple of things in “this thing of ours.” First; everyone has a podcast. You can go to Best Buy and get a podcast in a box, hook it up to your computer and you’re in business. 75 Radio is a radio show and a podcast. We are on apple, Spotify and all other major podcast forums. We realize that dad’s not in the garage with the GE radio drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon in the garage at 10:30pm. Second; since everyone with a podcast needs content and want clicks, they will say just about anything and post the most outlandish headline and post the most outlandish picture to get clicks (see above). Third: since podcasting is literally nickel and dime operation, everyone has a Patreon account. Everyone is begging for change. Now, the podcast universe has tuned into a high school cafeteria. Everyone is talking shit about everyone else. Candice is trashing Erica. Dan is trashing Candice. Owen is trashing Dan. Alex is trashing Owen. And everyone is trashing Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro (which is 100% justified)! And those not getting trashed is trashing everyone one else believing that trashing a more famous podcaster will get clicks on their platform.

Do you know who’s not posting content with outlandish headlines and pictures? Do you know who’s not at the cafeteria table talking smack about everyone else?  You know who doesn’t’ have a Patreon account? Us. Why? We are better than that. We don’t need to and we don’t want to go after personalities (except Bill Keeler) just to make a name for us. We only have 54 minutes a week. We’re too busy finding out the real reason why Donald Trump’s second inauguration was in the Capitol Building. We’re too busy analyzing what really happened when Renee Good and Alex Pretti interfered with authorities. We’re too busy looking at the events in Minnesota and determining that the protest was organized and funded before Cam Higby and James O’Keefe came out with their findings. We were too busy doing our research for a lively discussion on the invasion of Venezuela or the bombing of Iran. We’re doing the show live at CPAC. We’re at a trucker protest on Constitution Avenue. We’re finding out why John Brennan should be in jail. We’re too busy crying for the people of Los Angeles as their city burned. We’re too busy listening to Gary Bynre tell us in great length and great detail how the Secret Service failed in Butler, Pennsylvania. We’re too busy researching the news to know what others are doing.

As for clicks, we changed the spelling from “clickbait” to “clickbate.” These podcasters seem get off on their own content. The majority of our content is the show we did live, with the date, subject matter of the show any links and a picture of our Spokesmodel, Danila Rodrigues. And every picture is a classy picture of her in a dress. We could have pics of Danila in a bikini or something else more tantalizing. But we choose not to. Danila is much more than just eye candy. She is a very important part of the show. She is a personality on the show and is with Scoop at many events he attends and has an important role with the show both on and off the air. Other content we post is excellent monologues from Walter and Mike. All unscripted and unrehearsed. We don’t follow a script, teleprompter or have talking points from another source. We don’t have writers, staffers or use AI for show prep. I call Walter and Mike about the news stories he pulled and that’s it. I pull notes and stories from the 75 Radio website. That I wrote!

We don’t have a Patreon account because we feel that would cheapen the show. Do you know who else asks for donations? NPR. We just ask for sponsors. We have the best bang for the buck out of any medium! And we are selective on who advertises with us. No shady outfits, snake oil salesmen or flim flam artists. We have production costs. If our revenue doesn’t meet our expenses, we eat the difference. And those who do not have a product or service to advertise, all we ask is that you spread the word.

As for the trashing of other personalities, we don’t care. We don’t have time to call podcasters out. We don’t care what they have to say. We see them as the competition. We would rather have your eyes and ears on us than somewhere else.  Don’t get us wrong, we will destroy those who deserve it. We will forever lambast Bill Keeler. Keeler has been doing hack radio for 35 years ripping off Howard Stern and Don Imus. We are pissed at him because he tried to make a name for himself by destroying a career of a hero firefighter. That firefighter is a friend of ours. We also destroyed every PoS politician (from both parties) and we destroy those who are really out there like the gals on The View and other personalities who are really in left field (like Joy Reid or Don Lemon). But; we don’t need to gossip or trash our competition. We are in a class all our own. Here’s some of our best work featuring Mike, Walter and myself.

“75 Radio” celebrates seven years!

7 APRIL 2025

WASHINGTON, DC

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

“75 Radio” is proud to announce our seven-year anniversary on the air! “75 Radio” first hit the airwaves April 7, 2018. Since then, many changes have been made to make the show better! “75 Radio” is the first show in history where the hosts never met face to face! The show has been on seven years and were just getting warmed up. “75 Radio” is unscripted, unrehearsed, and no holds barred. No one knows what the other will say but, we do our due diligence on news stories.

Some of the guests include: Radio host Andrew Giuliani, conservative pundit Cal Thoms, author TS Dixon and baseball legend Lenny Dykstra. We don’t have too many guests on but the ones we do are the ones we would want to hang out with after the show. And when we go to bring a guest, we give them the floor to say whatever they want for as long as they want. We also talk about controversial issues that others stay away from including: crime, race relations, police corruption, abuse of power, and international conflicts. Other subjects include: green nipples, g strings, living in a meth lab, looking for love in a nursing home and feminine hygiene products with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz!

“75 Radio” changed the face of radio with the World’s First Radio Spokesmodel! Danila Rodrigues has been brought into the “75 Radio” family as the face of “75 Radio.” Her pictures grace the archives of the podcast and YouTube archives. She also promotes “75 Radio” at public events.

“75 Radio” is a conservative talk show syndicated by Liberty News Radio Network from its flagshp station WMQM-AM/W227DQ 1600 AM Memphis. The show is also carried online via the Roku Player, Tune In app and on LibertyNewsRadio.com. All shows are uploaded to most major podcasting services including Spotify and Apple as well as archived on its website 75Radio.org all free of charge. The show is hosted by Walter Yurkiw, who was featured in the runaway documentary The Seven Five, and Peter “Scoop” Stanton who is also the Washington Correspondent for The Political Cesspool. Walter and Scoop are former members of the New York Police Department.

Anthony Cumia’s triumphant return!

By: Scoop Stanton

Sunday night, I listened to Antony Cumia on 77 WABC in New York online. It was like he never left terrestrial radio. Cumia gave kudos to the legendary Bob Grant, who inspired generations of talk radio personalities, including yours truly. One thing Cumia touched upon was terrestrial radio vs podcasting. Everyone has a podcast. You have “podcasts in a box” kits at Best Buy. Everyone has a podcast. And most of them suck, with the exception of handful. And everyone of them has a big honking microphone front and center. It’s like who has the biggest phallus. And Cumia brings up the fact that most of these podcasters are panhandlers. They are all begging for money.

With radio, you can’t see anything for the most part. And that’s a good thing for “75 Radio.” Did I do a show naked? Did I do a show at a nudist resort? Did I paint my nipples green last St Patrick’s Day? Unfortunately only I know. But it creates the image while you are listening. One of the reasons why we put Danila’s picture up and not stills or a video feed is so we are still radio in the digital age. Besides who wouldn’t want to stare at Danila’s picture!? And at the same time we are on all major podcasting services as we are living by Billy Beane in “Moneyball:” “Adapt or die.” More and more people are being entertained on their phones with thousands of options. Everyone knows how I live and breathe rock music from 1964 to 1979. I can’t recall the last time I listened to the “Classic Rock” station in DC. Same could be said about talk radio.

The next day, Cumia went online and reviewed his performance. Its obvious that he’s not only a fan of terrestrial radio but he is humbled to be on WABC. His old partner Gregg “Opie” Hughes went on his podcast which s nothing more than a light, a microphone and a phone and criticized his old partner. Hughes criticized Cumia for doing AM radio at 8 pm on a Sunday night. Hughes also clowned Cumia because his car doesn’t have AM. But, this is 2025. Everyone livestreams! Including Liberty News Radio! What Hughes failed to mention is that 77 WABC is a legendary talk station. People would kill to get a slot on WABC. Second: Cumia is live in the biggest market in the US: New York. Gregg Hughes is no dummy. He knows that. Either he’s jealous or he’s playing into the three people that watch his podcast.

It gets better for Cumia! His show is going syndicated!

Kudos to Anthony Cumia for explaining the importance of terrestrial radio and the talent that still make radio great and congratulations for a great show back on radio!
