75 Radio walks the runway at Glitz and Glamour again!

By: Scoop Stanton

Last night I went to the Glitz and Glamour Veteran’s Gala and once again one of the 75 Radio family members was a hit during the fashion show and it wasn’t the most beautiful woman in radio Danila Rodrigues!

It was our Field Producer Ed Huebner! Now if two of us show up at any event, it’s a 75 Radio event!

Ed showed up in his custom Andre Soriano tuxedo! He made James Bond look like a crack head! This was the event we promoted on air with Gift Hughes! It was a nod and thank you to our veterans.  Some were in dinner dress blues and other had their medals. I didn’t want to show up everyone with my National Defense and Good Conduct Medals!

As usual the ladies looked absolutely amazing! Even the one’s not in the fashion show! I run with a hot group of people!

There was no Jack Daniel’s available so I did my best to put a dent in the Makers Mark supply!

As I was being the social butterfly, and talking to everyone (too many to list) I noticed Ed wasn’t around.  I was getting worried. Was he kidnapped, in the bathroom, talking to a lady, or did an “Irish goodbye?” No, he was in the back getting ready to walk the runway! Why not? Ed is a handsome man with grace and class wearing an Andre Soriano custom made tuxedo! I work my “wedding outfit ” with the Rolling Stones tie, again! And Ed was on point!

As the night was winding down, Brian Sussman and I got some food and he graciously took me home!

I had the time of my life as usual! Sometimes I feel it’s a dream and I’m going to wake up and all this never happened. I need to thank Gift and Michelle from Glitz and Glamour and Andre for putting on a spectacular event, all the love from the family and especially Ed Huebner for making it special!

Who vetted this guy!?

Bobby loves his guns!

Des Moines, IA looked far and wide for the perfect candidate for superintendent of the public schools. And they found him. Ian Roberts! Mr. Roberts is an immigrant. From Guyana! So all the students of color have a role model they can look up to! And Mr. Roberts has done wonders making a name for the Des Moines Schol System. He was arrested after fleeing a traffic stop. He was charged with possession of firearms. He was charged for possession of the firearms because he was an illegal alien! Illegal aliens are prohibited from possessing firearms! Robers had a student visa in 1999, and might have overstayed his welcome as he had a final deportation order in 2024!

As for exercising his Second Amendment rights, Roberts’ firearms were found in his home and in the vehicle that the School Board gave him! I guess Des Moines school buildings are gun free zones, but not Des Moines school vehicles!

Roberts claims to be an educated man with a doctorate from Morgan State University, as well as attending MIT, Harvard and Georgetown! The only problem is that Morgan State denies he earned a Ph.D, and the other schools has no record of his attendance!

Roberts is an exemplary supervisor as he was looking to promote females while running a school system in Pennsylvania. His actions resulted in $400,000 in settlements.

As usual the honkies in Des Moines can’t stand the fact a black man became successful on his own merit!

In other news 75 Radio is proud to announce its newest family member. He has a Ph.D in Communication from UC Berkley and had the highest rated show in New York City on 77 WABC; Ian Roberts!

Jaws at 50!

By: Scoop Stanton

On June 20th, 1975, Universal Pictures released a motion picture that changed movie history: Jaws. Jaws was the first summer blockbuster. Universal figured the kids are out of school, so they have the time and daddy’s money to go to the theater.

Jaws was based on the book written by Peter Benchley. Benchley not only wrote the book but he also co-wrote the screenplay and appeared in the movie. The movie was directed by Steven Spielberg, and in my opinion his best movie. Jaws was an action movie, horror movie and drama movie all rolled into one. Three men attempt to kill a shark. A shark is attacking people. And a town figures out how to keep the town afloat with a dangerous shark attacking tourists. Casting the movie was perfect. Roy Scheider as Chief Brody. Scheider made a name in The French Connection and The Seven Ups. Robert Shaw was one of the biggest names in Hollywood at the time with From Russia with Love, Battle of the Bulge and The Taking of Pelham 123. Richard Dreyfuss made a name for himself in American Graffiti. The supporting cast was also amazing including Murray Hamilton as Mayor Larry Vaughn who had some of the best lines in the movie! Then John Williams put the icing on the cake with the scariest music in movie history.

Jaws is now my favorite movie because of one man: Anthony Cumia. As a diehard Cumia fan he would talk Jaws nonstop! I already saw the movie a number of times and now I had to watch it again, paying close attention and wow!

Cumia is such a fan of Jaws that he had a suit made to look like the one Hamilton wore in the movie and his eyeglasses have the frames Scheider wore in the movie!

As for me, I went to Universal Studios in Orlando last year and I was bummed out to find out that the Jaws ride was replaced with a Harry Potter ride. Here’s the kicker. Jaws is a Universal Picture. Harry Potter is a Warner Brothers property!

The Man You Don’t Know

Like I always say: “Things happen for a reason.” Long story short I had the pleasure to talk with movie director Christoper Martini. And like everyone else I meet through the family, Chris couldn’t have been any nicer. He is the director of the movie The Man You Don’t Know. A documentary movie of people who met Donald Trump saying what a wonderful human being he is. Way before he rode down that escalator, his acts of kindness to people were legendary. For every one unverified bullshit story about Trump, there are a thousand verified stories of kindness with “The man from Queens.”

Martini’s movie is in theaters. But; you wouldn’t know it. It seems like movie theaters are either not showing it, showing it when there is low turnout with movie goers or even block seats in theaters so movie goers have crummy reserved seats which will turn away movie goers. If I was the studio, theater, or anyone vested in the movie, I would be pissed. This is money lost. Politics or not, people are losing money! IF The Man You Don’t Know was a bomb like The Apprentice then it would be pulled from the theaters! Half the country love Donald Trump. Why not let the consumer decide!

We are flying down a slippery slope of censorship! Social media is not a platform for free speech. People like us are shadowbanned, have their content removed and sometimes just straight up banned from the platform. On Tiktok, I read an endorsement for Donald Trump. 8 hours and I get only 300+ views!? That’s why we need to support independent media and support one another. We need to defend free speech, no matter how awful the speech is!
