Donald Trump offered a buyout of almost 2.3 million federal employees. So far around 40,000 people agreed to the buyout. This is not surprising one bit. Here’s a couple of reasons why people don’t want to leave federal service.

1. Salary: The federal government pays very well. In Washington, DC nobody drives a “box of crap” and there are no pawn shops and very little payday loan stores.
2. Benefits: Excellent health plans and retirement plan similar to a 401(k).
3. Union protection: Many federal employees have collective bargaining rights.
4. Low amount of stress. Your not on an oil rig or running into gunfire.
5. Prestige: These people love to say that they work for whatever agency they work for so they can brag to everyone else!

It’s going to be interesting to see what comes down the pike because Trump is threatening layoffs next!

This week signifies two major milestones for “75 Radio!” The first is Danila returns to New York for Fashion Week! This has nothing to do with “75 Radio.” But; we celebrate every accomplishment in our family! With the picture above its obvious why Danila would be part of New York Fashion Week! We’re a little giddier on this accomplishment. Not only is Danila part of the biggest fashion show in the world once again, but it’s in our hometown! Walter, Scoop, Mike and Heather were all born in New York. And besides being a model, Danila is also a nurse, business owner, radio personality and a mother to some wonderful kids! Aproveite o dia! Nova York e sua, Senorah!

We all know the phrase “F@#$ around and find out.” Well, that’s what Mexico and Canada did. Trump instituted a tariff against goods coming in from both nations. And sure enough both countries gave into President Trump’s demands. China is putting 15% tariff’s on US products (coal, natural gas, oil) while the US is slapping a 10% tariff on all Chinese made goods. But that’s China. They always play hardball.

I saw a clip of this on Instagram and thought this was a goof. The Timeless Torches Dance Troupe is a group of over 40 somethings that dance at New York Liberty games. From the look from of things, they are not very good.

The Timeless Torches as well as other performers were the opening act for the State of the State address by New York Governor Kathy Hochul! New York State is still a mess! Highest taxes in the nation, young people moving out, jobs moving out, and out of control crime. Add to the fact people driving south of 60th St in Manhattan are subject for tolls to subsidize a failing mass transit system.

I don’t care if Grand Funk Railroad reunites for Kathy Hochul, I just want to know how Hochul is going to fix the state! Below is the whole show!
