Colbert Cancelled!

“The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” will end its run in May of 2026! This is the best news we heard all week. It was a financial decision that Viacom/CBS will end the show. Colbert will no longer besmirch the Ed Sullivan theater. For over half a century the greatest entertainers on planet earth appeared on that stage: The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, the Doors, the Supremes, Rare Earth, the Supremes, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Richard Pryor, Jackie Mason and Geroge Carlin. When David Letterman hosted his show performers included: The Allman Brothers Band, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, and Johnny Cash. As for guests Letterman let the guests be themselves. Two segments that stick out was the interview with the surviving members of Led Zeppelin and Don Rickles and Denzel Washington.

As for Colbert, he is a hack. He made a name for himself by spoofing Bill O’Reilly. Poorly. When he moved up to network television, he brought his left-wing politics with him. Carson, Leno and Letterman kept their political leanings to themselves for the most part. Not Stephen. The apex of his crap show was pushing the vaccines with this cringe bit!

Good riddance to bad rubbish! And to Viacom/CBS: we’ll do the lase show for 1/4 the budget of Colber’s show!

Mike and I both proudly served in the US Navy. The term “Old Navy” means more than a clothing store. Part of “Old Navy” is to keep your mouth shut and keep things to yourself. Also we had standards. No fatso’s, no beards, no long sideburns (damn!) and no “faddish” hairstyles. Then came social media.

There are hundreds if not thousands of TikTok videos of sailors acting a fool! Beards, uniforms looking like shit, and just tomfoolery for the world to see! Look, I was in the Navy. I did some shit! I call my Good Conduct medals the “Didn’t get caught medal.” Some actions punishable by the UCMJ. But: I didn’t put it out there. The Navy prohibits everything that goes against “good order and discipline.”

You know what you don’t see on TikTok? Members of the Russian and Chinese military acting a fool! Let’s hope the DoD cracks down on this!

LA giving money to illegals!

Last week LA Mayor Karen signed an executive order that bolster protocols and provides cash assistance to families affected by ICE raids! The executive order also demands that the federal government provides information to the city who was detained, for what reason and how much did it cost the taxpayers! Now, the cash or debit cards will be supplied by private donors and distributed by NGO’s but there will be city oversight that will be paid by the taxpayer!

It’s like the illegal alien is now a voting block in Los Angeles. Since when did America reward trespassers!? Meanwhile tens of thousands if Los Angeles still live on the infamous Skid Row!

HOA’s suck!

We are not fans of Home Owners Associations (HOA). You purchase a home and you should be able to do what you want to it within reason. Turning a home into a junk yard or renting the home to two or more families is unreasonable and there are local codes and ordinances for that.

But, the HOA’s take it to the extreme with paint colors, fence height and decorations.

One HOA in Arizona is fining a homeowner for doing something outrageous; placing a cooler with “free water” scribbled on it on his lawn for free water!

And this is in Arizona! Homeowner Dave Martin is fighting the HOA because he has a cooler full of cold water on his property with “free water ” scribbled with a Sharpie! And this drama has gone to HOA meetings with petitions to remove the Karen’s causing a fuss, then the Karen’s say the petitions are not legitimate. And the issue is still not settled.

The biggest problem with HOA’s is that the board is made up of Karen’s and cucks. The cucks have no power at work or at home, so they want they want to exert their power on people like us who don’t have the time or energy to worry about paint colors or the height of grass. And Scoop Stanton was always fighting with his HOA over junky cars on the front lawn and old appliances sitting outside the front of the house!
