Finally: no more funding our competition!

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) will shut down, with 100 staffers leaving in September and total shutdown in January, 2026. PBS and NPR will still continue, but without government subsidies.

This is music to our ears. National Public Radio (NPR) is our competition. Money taken from our paycheck goes to our competitor. It’s like GM is forced to give money to Ford. It’s about time this happened. Half a century ago, there were three television networks and a radio station in the rural areas were few and far between. Fast forward to today, and everyone has a cellular phone. Internet is everywhere. Elon Musk has satellites providing internet. You have the internet on passenger planes. In fact more people stream entertainment than watch network television.

In terms of programming: total crap! NPR has boring left wing programming. With no commercials. NPR catered to the liberals in the big cities. Not the people in “white bread America.” No radio legends came from NPR. No “Cousin Brucie” Morrow, Bob Grant, Rush Limbaugh, Scott Muni, or 75 Radio.

Public Broadcasting System (PBS) also some total crap. Now, don’t get us wrong, PBS did us a great service by filming the Doors, Rare Earth, Mountain, and other music legends as well as teaching us on Sesame Street, Mister Rodgers Neighborhood and The Electric Company. But; cable, streaming and YouTube can do what PBS does with no money. And like NPR, PBS has given us left wing propaganda with shows like Democracy Now. And when PBS played something that non-PBS viewers might check out: a fund drive! Years ago PBS played a Rolling Stones concert. And every 10 minutes, the concert stops so viewers can give more money to PBS.

Should we give PBS and NPR money? No. Should we get rid of it? No. Let the viewers decide. If they want it, they will pay for it!

Scoop naked on the subway (again)!

By: 75 Radio staff writers

Scoop Stanton was allegedly riding naked on a 6 train in Harlem earlier this week. An allegation Scoop denies. However, Scoop was in New York State visiting family earlier this month, loves mass transit and did work in Harlem riding trains as one of New York’s Finest. This is also not the first time Scoop (allegedly) got into trouble getting naked while working as a flight attendant for Bristish Airways. Scoop also alleges he did the show from a nudist resort once. But the management of the resort told Scoop to put his clothes back on.

As for Scoop, 75 Radio will encourage Scoop to carry on as this makes great content for Saturday night!

WNBA vs ECW

Recently during a WNBA game between two teams no one was watching a time out was called because I player’s wig fell off! We know that a lady’s hair is very important. Trust us, we know we have two ladies on the show! But; for the team to call a time out and the player to run in the locker room is something else. If you’re playing professional sports, maybe not wear hair pieces.

Now, back in the 1990’s there was a wrestling promotion called Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). One match in the late 90’s, James “The Sandman” Fullington wrestle Terry “Sabu” Brunk. We all know that wrestling is staged and the fix is in, but ECW went above and beyond the call of performance. In this particular match Brunk broke his jaw. Was the match stopped? No. Brunk taped up his jaw and finished the match! Here’s some of the highlights. Sabu never cut off the tape so the entire roll is still attached!

Some might say: “Well, those are men, women are more delicate.” Well once again, ECW crushed that myth. One lady who went by the name Buelah McGillicutty wrestled a man; Bill Alfonzo. Neither one was a formally trained wrestler. Buelah not only beat the hell out of Alfonzo but performed in one of the best matches in professional wrestling. Not to mention, the little lady is hotter than the entire WNBA put together!

So ladies of the WNBA; man up!

“Possibly white”

The man pictured above is Shane Tamura. The mass shooter in Manhattan last Monday. As the scene was unfolding live CNN genius described the gunman as “male, possibly white, moustache, sunglasses.” CNN contributor John Miller also gave the same description. Well, they got the male, sunglasses and moustache correct. But where do they get “possibly white” from!?

CNN was hoping the guy was white, so they can go into the gun grabbing routine where they bring “experts” and victims of gun violence to set the agenda. Remember Dylan Roof? Colorado? Florida? Arizona? Buffalo? All white shooters, and the gun control propaganda went into high gear. But when a child gets caught in the crossfire in the ‘hood; there’s balloons and teddy bears and a call for peace in the in the community, but mainstream media is silent on gun control.
