A lost custom

Growing up, my father taught me things of being a man. Things like, always look people in the eye, don’t be so cheap, always keep your word, and be a good tipper. Living in New York City, your tipping everyone; the man parking your car, the doorman at a club, the bell boy, bartender, and cab driver. If you tip you bartender very well, and the place is busy, he or she will make sure you are taken care of. I remember in 1997 while in the Police Academy, we stayed at some joint after closing. They were counting thousands in cash. Soundgarden’s Superunknown album comes on the sound system. I was so drunk and happy that I tipped $20 to play the whole album!

Now a days everyone wants a tip. The fast food joint, dry cleaners, and even stop and rob stores! Its dumb. Making change or getting a greaseburger in a bag? Hell no. But as an Uber driver, I have received one whole tip! It wouldn’t be so bad as Uber in the beginning did not have a place for tips, but now they do. I don’t expect tips, but it is nice to get one once in a while.

I don’t know if people don’t know how to tip or they don’t want to (my wife never has a service job, and is the WORST tipper), but it is sad. In food service, people survive on tips. One thing I did notice is that  I drive mostly DC Millennials, who are liberal to the T. These are the same people who support the “Fight for 15” always wants to raise the minimum wage, always talking about supporting the working class, always talking about more social programs for the poor. They are the ones who don’t tip! If you are driving for Uber, your choices in life are not working out. Trust me, they really, really appreciate tips!

Scoop now an Uber driver!

By Scoop

That’s Right! Yours truly now drives for Uber! With all the ride sharing companies, I decided to drive for the one with the most name recognition like Coke, Kleenex, and Budweiser. Its relative easy. All you need is a 4 door vehicle, not a hooptie with the proper paperwork and a valid license. Uber does a background check to weed out the sickos and perverts.

I decided to drive for Uber out of necessity. 75 Radio is a labor of love, and cost lost of money to run. Add to the fact I have a wife that contributes almost zero and 2 kids and its more out of necessity.  Its really easy. The down side is that after gas, you make about $12-15 per hour.

Unlike some Uber drivers, I dont have any “Taxi Driver” stories. Besides, me being who I am, I keep my mouth shut. But I will say that I had a sitting member of the US House of Representatives in my car, Also tourists from Holland and Chile. But mostly twenty somethings. My biggest disappointment is that people forgot how to tip!

Negative ads DO work.

Last week I was listening to the poor excuse of a “conservative” radio station and an ad came on from Representative Barbara Comstock trashing her primary opponent. The ad accuses her opponent of not holding down a job, and posting pornography on Twitter. They even mentioned a website that slanders the candidate. I looked online to study this horrible person. He wants to end Obamacare, pay down the debt, and supports the second amendment! I am all in! His name is Shak Hill! He is also a Trump suporter, pro life, and pro God! So, I’d like to thank the campaign of Barbara Comstock  of introducing me to Shak Hill. So you see, negative ads do work. I encourage all residents of VA District 10 to vote for Shak Hill and all Virginia residents to vote for Corey  Stewart!

The Q Anon phenomenon

Just after the election of Donald Trump, something began running on 4chan and later 8chan of someone calling themselves QAnon. A Q clearance is the highest clearance one can get within the US government. Qanon or Q seems to be people close to the president and has been dropping certain nuggets like politicians are retiring and the Pope wants to change the Lord’s Prayer. But Q does it riddles and code, sot it is not easy to figure out what’s what. Of course the media is staying away from this and Alex Jones hasn’t said much about it. I have been on the fence on it and here’s why.

Allegedly there are 26,000+ sealed indictments from various federal districts for a bunch of corrupt politicians. But why sit on them? If the charges are horrendous, why sit on them? Next Frazzledrip. Qanon has been telling us that the NYPD has Anthony Wiener’s laptop with a file called “Life Insurance Policy.” Allegedly its a snuff film with Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedien doing terrible things to a little girl. Fake News reported the film was released to the dark web. Because nobody wants to get caught up in legal trouble, people (including me) reported it at face value. Allegedly the FBI  told the NYPD not to do anything, that the FBI will handle it. Trust me, the NYPD will not and does not take a backseat to anybody. New York’s greatest detectives would file charges and let the courts figure it out.

Then Q inferred  that 2 detectives were killed because of the film. False. A lieutenant and 2 patrol officers died since March of 2017.  Officer Down Memorial Page lists Miosotis Familia as a detective. She was posthumously promoted to Detective at her funeral. She was not with the cybercrime  division. Why would someone go from something this good back to patrol?

I’ll say one thing; it’s fun watching people try to analyze QAnon.

Where is Scoop?

Well, we kicked off the new show and I have been MIA. Why? Because by the grace of God I was able to get a new job! It’s still in the security field, but think Casino or Oceans 11. I am in a rigorous training program where I have to work days. It is frustrating, but like everywhere else, since I have no senority, I will be getting the graveyard shift again, which is fine by meme. Until then Walter has the helm.
