With the invasion of Russia forces in Ukraine, I can say I don’t care. But I wish Russia would leave the Ukrainian people alone. And God help Russia if Walter Yurkiw picks up a rifle for Ukraine! Give Ukraine weapons, not blankets.

But; I have to worry about me! My marriage is falling apart, I can’t afford gas, I can’t afford food, and my kids’ schools are a propaganda machine! Then there is the mask mandates. Riding Metro in DC looks like something out of Death Wish. Our border is invaded. Our country is falling apart. And now we have to worry about somebody else!? Again!?

As we stand for the truckers in Ottawa, the truckers in America are coming to DC to tie up traffic and make things difficult for me and all the people who look down on us! I can’t wait! People in DC are already shaking in their boots. Truckers are sick of the skyrocketing diesel costs, vaccine mandates, having our rights taken away and seeing this country fall apart right before our eyes.

75 Radio has always supported the American Trucker. 10 years ago I was one of the very few to support and report on the Trucker protest to shut down America. In 2020, I was on Constitution Avenue with the truckers literally in front of the White House! President Trump told the Mayor to let the trucks park on the street. I met some of the nicest people from all over the world that want to change the rules with third party brokers. These people throw a protest like no other! They were very peaceful, fed strangers not part of the protest including homeless people and myself and picking up trash not even theirs!

The American trucker moves this nation’s economy. Everything we buy came on the back of a truck. If it was shipped on a railroad it was put on and taken off by truck. The trucking industry also supports the economy with truck and trailer manufactures, tire makers, food service, the oil industry, the hospitality industry, and other industries indirectly. A trucker is one job you can’t outsource to India or the Philippines!

Years ago, the Democrat Party was the party of the “working man.” The blue collar union man. Including the International Brotherhood of Teamsters ( I was a member of Local 117, Secaucus, NJ!). Now the Democrat Party is a party of elite, upper middle class special interest! Gay marriage, open borders, affirmative action, gun control, and total wokeness. Needless to say, there is no room for the blue collar union worker in a major urban area. Don’t look at the Republicans either. They are going after the same voter and same donation money.  If your in the DMV, come on down for a good time!

I waited a couple of days before I commented on this subject that I know very well. A few days ago outside Pittsburgh a mother of four moonlighting as a driver for Uber was killed by a savage after she begged for her life. I wanted to see if our media would do it’s job. And of course they did! They buried this story deep! The last thing the media wants is another report of a white person murdered by a young black man with a criminal record! If it was a white man killing a black female, it would be 24/7 news!

As someone who does dive for Uber/Lyft I can tell you those drivers are not getting rich. They need to drive to make ends meet. The cars are nothing special. Plus we rarely handle cash. It’s all electronic. We would be some of the last people you want to mug. As for the customers, cabbies have been avoiding poor neighborhoods for years for safety reasons and so have I. This has gone on for decades and will continue. It’s a survival instinct. These men and women want to see their families at the end of the shift. The plexiglass between cabbie and driver? It’s not because of upper class white people mugging cabbies. Today poor people in the ‘hood have it bad. They always have to pay higher rates because drivers (including me) don’t want to drive there because 1) they are afraid there would be no trips out of the ‘hood 2) some of the people travelling to the ‘hood are people you wouldn’t want in your car in the first place and 3) personal safety. Years ago I spoke to an immigrant from Ethiopia who told me he did not pick up young black men nor drive to the ‘hood because of the clientele. And this man was darker than piano keys! I dropped a fare off in the ‘hood and picked up an older lady at night. I felt sorry for her because she had to pay top dollar and wait a long time because her neighbors can’t behave. This is not the first time something like this happened. In DC in Uber Eats driver was carjacked with a stungun by two teenage girls. And in Greenbelt, MD on the outskirts of DC, an Uber driver was shot at the train station. He survived!

As for Uber, they don’t give a shit. To them we are just contractors or hired help. They have done nothing for the drivers working for Uber who have become a target. Unlike a taxi that rents a car and medallion or they own the taxi and license outright. Uber drivers represent the company when they drive or deliver. Their name is on our car!  

It’s been a rough week and change for the family. Walter has been fighting some illness that has been kicking his ass. I have been dealing with an issue with my home (my double wide flooded). And James Edwards is also dealing with a loss. James can let you know on his family if he wants. With that being said, I will not be posting as much as usual this week, but hopefully we will be live Saturday. Bur here’s a few nibbles.

Russia has invaded Ukraine. Look for gas prices to skyrocket and Biden to mess this up.

The truckers are coming to DC! If and when they do come I will be there like I was two years ago!

Andrew Giuliani may have spilled the beans on what we already knew!

Unfunny comedian, race baiter and black nerd W. Kamau Bell directed a documentary series for Showtime, called We need to talk about Cosby. And boy am I surprised. This documentary showed the constant rise of Cosby while ruining the lives of dozens of women. This asshole could have anyone he wanted. But………….

Bell did a brilliant job showing Cosby’s career, and the good things he has done and then the victims spoke. Time after time it was the same M.O. Cosby was a brilliant criminal. He made everyone see him as “America’s dad.” Someone you could trust. These women saw Cosby as one of the most powerful men in Hollywood. And he took advantage of them. After the fact he made them believe that they had too much to drink, and he met the victim’s family or gave them a job after the act! And nobody said anything. I’m not talking about the victims, I’m talking about Cosby’s inner circle! Not one disgruntled employee spoke up!? And all the other actors on the show amounted to nothing.

The media is also to blame. It took a stand up comedian to break the news! The media would rather go after a podcaster that goes against conventional wisdom and has a bigger audience than MSM than go after Hollywood types killing people (Alec Baldwin, Robert Blake) and raping people (Cosby). Why? because the news is owned by the movie and television studios.
