I always looked forward to October. No for Halloween or Columbus Day but Jocktober! Jocktober is a play on Rocktober, which was a promotion of rock stations to feature bands’ playlists on each day.

Jocktober was created by Opie and Anthony. They shine a light on their industry to show how shitty the talent is, how it all sounds the same, and how Station Managers and Program Directors are killing the industry. This is what Patrick Ryan and we do today! As Greg “Opie” Hughes, Anthony Cumia, Jim Norton and Sam Roberts tear apart these shows with no mercy. Then the “pests” who listen to the show will go on social media and post the most horrible things on the shows being profiled! Then the show staff describe in detail what has been posted! The show getting destroyed then have to shut down Facebook for the disgusting posts!

This bit is the absolute the funniest thing I ever heard on radio, ever. And it goes all month long! I know Hughes and Cumia have their issues with each other, but I wish they would get back together for Jocktober. Last night I was listening a broadcast on Youtube on the way home from work and my face was sore from smiling and laughing for over 30 minutes.

Well the incompetent Mayor of DC Muriel Bowser has done it again. She has budgeted $10 million to help black DC residents purchase a home as black home ownership has gone down in the past 15 years. Well, I don’t know where to begin. Well; I understand if the District wants to help poor people purchase a home; not just black people. It’s like Frederick County Maryland stating it has a program for white residents purchase a home. All hell would break loose! But; the local media of course is celebrating it! Talk about a discrimination lawsuit! Mayor Bowser doesn’t want to face the fact that it’s the rich white people that have revitalized the District. There’s a reason why black home ownership is going down. The price of housing in DC is ridiculous and the black homeowners are selling their homes to white people for a fortune and then move to Prince George’s County, MD! Mayor Bowser also showed her soft bigotry of low expectations as Her Honor said that this program can help black people keep the home that their parents and grandparents purchased after they die! God forbid a family wants to move out of their rental and purchase a home. It sounds to me that Mayor Bowser don’t think that poor black District residents can purchase a home. As for spending money, that 10 million could be  used to properly fix the roads. Interstate 295 was just repaved and it still is some crap. Other roads they build speed bumps you can ski down on a road that was taking mortar fire! The schools are a mess and the transit system is a mess, the 911 system is a mess, and the crime is out of control!  

Well Kanye West did it again! At a fashion show in Paris this week he came out with conservative pundit Candice Owens wearing shirts that read “White Lives Matter.” He still wasn’t done. He also called Black Lives Matter a “scam.”

Well; its safe to say West will not be invited to the next Democrat Convention and will have his street cred pulled. Besides kudos to West for standing up to the entire leftist mob consisting of the media, race hustlers, politicians and the woke mob, my question is where are the white advocates? Enough white people were falling over themselves for Black Lives Matter. But no one is saying that White Lives Matter. With the exception of Asians, white have been getting the short end of the stick simply based on race, and the fact that white people do not stand up for themselves! And West has the balls to call out Black Lives Matter. The media doesn’t. Outside of the usual conservative suspects, did you recall any mainstream media outlet do a report on what BLM spend their money on and who doesn’t get any of the millions they collect? No.

I am not sold on West, and unsure of his political leanings, but if he keeps this up 75 Radio might have to include some of his music in the bumpers!  

While visiting storm ravaged Puerto Rico President Joseph Robinette Biden said: “I was sort of raised in the Puerto Rican community, politically.” I understand pandering to the people a politician is looking at, and the Democrats do it in hyper drive. But let’s be clear: Little Joey Biden did not live around Puerto Ricans in Scranton in the 1940’s and didn’t live around them in Delaware. Remember; he didn’t want his kids to go to a school that was a “racial jungle.” Maybe he met some Puerto Ricans while in college. But as a Senator, Vice-President and President; hell no! Unless it was a political event and he needed some brown faces on stage or in the crowd. And the media will say:……..nothing.
