Senator Chuck Schumer wants to give 11 million illegal aliens amnesty because the birthrate in the US has been dropping. Well, Mr. Schumer we have yourself and your fellow socialists to thank! Here’s how why were not having more kids.
-Technology; thanks to various forms of birth control, women were not getting pregnant. But that was a drop in the bucket.
-Decline of morals. Back in the 1960’s young people stopped getting married and having kids and just slept around. Birth control came on the scene and was and is cheap and readily available. Divorce became quick, easy and painless (for the woman). Couples never worked through the problems. And the marriage counselors are all full of shit! I know because I went to see these people full of shit!
-The women’s movement. In the 1970’s women were taught that becoming a wife and mother, staying home raising a family is old fashioned. Women should have a career. Home Economics was removed from the schools. 50 years later, we have women who can’t cook or do laundry. With women entering the workforce, Pat Buchanan correctly stated that wages went down because the amount of people entering the workforce doubled.
-The rigged economy. I remember my father telling me stories of kids graduating high school and going down to the local factory on Monday morning getting a job. That one factory worker got married, had children supported the family, bought a house, two cars, and went on vacation or had a summer place. All from one income! AND they were not swimming in debt. Mortgages were 20 years. And they even had money to put in the bank! As for myself, my ex wife and I were both working full time making ok money. We wanted to buy a house and we still needed to borrow money from my mother in law. Most other families in major cities cash in the 401(k)’s to put a down payment on a house hoping their investment will pay off. As a married couple we lived paycheck to paycheck with used cars and no vacations with the exception of 3 days in Virginia Beach. And we still maxed out credit cards. With that being said couples are not having children. And the Democrats have not only done nothing to let parents keep more money.
-Homosexuality: Up until the 1960’s homosexuality was kept in the dark. If you were gay, you kept it to yourself. Society would never promote it. People were encouraged to get married and have kids. Now you have police cars supporting gay pride. Schools are flying gay pride flags and bringing in graphic homosexual books. And television and movies can’t have enough gay characters or acts of homosexuality in the media. With gay people getting busy, the parts don’t quite fit to create life. No some couples adopt kids, but can’t make them.
-Abortion: For the left, abortion is a holy sacrament like Baptism or matrimony. For 50 years there have been approximately 900,000 abortions per year. That’s 45 million people we lost over half a century. In 50 years we would be looking at over half a billion people in the US born since 1972!
The 11 million Schumer want to give a free pass are not all engineers, programmers, plumbers, electricians, or welders. These people have no job skills, speak little or no English and will not be part of the American dream! This whole country is falling apart, and Schumer wants to bring more problems in!
