What happened to Thanksgiving!?

It’s the “Holiday Season.” Where we spend three months preparing for December 25th where everything is over by Christmas dinner. We are starting to see Christmas items before Halloween. And everything Christmas on November 1st. But what happened to Thanksgiving? To me, Thanksgiving is just as important as Christmas, without all the hoopla! Family getting together sitting around the dinner table reliving family memories. Through the years I haven’t had the pleasure of spending Thanksgiving with my family. It was usually work, then the distance from DC to upstate New York. But; I did get to spend a number of Thanksgivings with my kids, and I plan to see my parents and siblings this year.

I’m all for making a buck. People spend an ungodly amount of money on presents, wrapping paper, food, decorations, booze, and now ugly Christmas sweaters. On purpose! Thanksgiving; not so much. That’s why Madison Avenue and Walmart pushes Christmas for three months and only give Thanksgiving an honorable mention.

This year I have a lot to be thankful for! My parents are still with us, even though mom is touch and go. My kids are healthy, happy and doing well in school. 75 Radio is getting bigger and better. And I’m starting to have a social life! I want to thank God, for everything, mom and dad and the rest of the Stanton clan, Walter, Heather, Danila, James, Sam, Sean, Jim, Ed Huebner, Charlie LeDuff and all of you!

Patriot Palooza Update!

Like I say all the time; things happen for a reason. And now I’m happy to say that things keep getting better! And they have. I reported on having the pleasure to speak with talk show host John Stubbins who I heard on Liberty Roundtable on the upcoming event at the Trump National Golf Club outside Washington, DC. Speakers include: General Michael Flynn, Dr. Sebastian Gorka, Tom Homan, WMAL’s Vince Coglianese, fashion designer and friend of 75 Radio Andre Soriano (who’s famous Make America Great Again dress was returned by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!) and a host of others. It gets better! Now; 75 Radio will be there! The world’s first Radio Spokesmodel, the very lovely Danila Rodrigues will be there! She is not one of the speakers, but she will be there to get the scoop of the event and meet fellow patriots. Do you know who won’t be there; RINO’s (Republican’s in Name Only) Conservative Incorporated and DC Swamp creatures! We hope to interview organizer John Stubbins live on 75 Radio the next day to talk about the reason for the gathering; raise money for a documentary film “American Anarchy.”

This is a grass roots gathering. You don’t see certain names, because there’s nothing in it for themselves! This nation is in deep, deep trouble. And Conservative Inc wants to shake us down all day every day. People like Stubbins want to save this nation! We also want to show our love and support for our friend Andre Soriano. I want the loudest cheering section for him! Remember; we look out for our family. This is the same network that promoted one of our personalities starting his own show on another platform!

The event is this Friday, November 17th at the Trump National Golf Club in Virginia. Get your tickets! It will be worth it! You have great food, three different live performers, a silent auction including the MAGA dress, conservative celebrities, great conversations and now Danila Rodrigues!

I need to thank John and his colleague Liza who couldn’t be nicer! Thank you for bringing us into this very special event! You are responsible for continuing our streak of great things for 75 Radio. We brought in the world’s first Radio Spokesmodel, had a mention in Talker’s Magazine been doing killer shows and now being a part of this special event at the Trump Golf Course! You need to come join us!

See you at the Trump Golf Course Washington, November 17!

Patriot Palooza November 17!

I always say things happen for a reason. Last week I heard radio host and fellow veteran John Stubbins on Liberty News Radio’ Liberty Roundtable. He was talking about a fundraiser to rise money for a film he was putting together called “American Anarchy.” The event is being held on this Friday November 17 at the Trump Golf Course in Virginia, 30 minutes from my house! Guests include General Michael Flynn, Dr. Sebastian Gorka and of course Mr. Stubbins! Then John mentioned Andre Soriano! I knew of Andre through Ed Huebner and the lovely Danila Rodrigues. Holy crap! It’s a small world! The purpose of the movie is to show how corrupt the government really is! And he’s showing the receipts! He knows too!

I was able to speak with John, incredibly nice guy. Vince Coglianese who is the MC of the event and does PM drive time on WMAL in DC is also super nice. Then Andre is a friend of Danila’s and now a friend of the show! I do hope to interview John the next day on 75 to get a reacp!

In the meantime, get down here to Virginia! This Friday November 17 at the Trump National Golf Course in Potomac Falls! Go to https://johnstubbins.com/events/trump-national-golf-club/ to get tickets!

As the week progresses, we will provide updates!

See you there!

They ruined the Rock Hall of Fame

Well the rock hall of fame had their induction ceremony recently. I say who gives a shit. You have LL Cool J Janet Jackson and NWA in the hall but not other pioneers. I don’t know who does the voting, but it sounds something worse than the baseball Hall of Fame. There are rock and roll pioneers that have been left out. And its bullshit. Here are some artists who should be inducted.

Rare Earth

This band had hits such as “I’m losing you,” “Big Brother,” and “I just want to celebrate.”

Quicksilver Messenger Service

Quicksilver Messenger Service should be inducted for this performance of “Mona.” Other hits include “Pride of Man,” “What about me,” and the iconic “Fresh Air.”

Robin Trower

Trower was a member of Procol Harum who also is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. As a solo artist Trower has songs including “Day of the Eagle,” “Too Rolling Stoned,” and the iconic “Bridge of Sighs.”

Soundgarden

One of the biggest bands of the grunge era with one of the best voices of all time. Hits include: “Rusty Cage,” “Burden in my hand,” “Outshined,” and “Black Hole sun.”

Grand Funk Railroad

These guys are rock and roll! A lead singer/guitarist with super long hair that usually played shirtless. Originally a trio, they still sounded like a four or five piece band. They were loud and fast! They did “I’m your captain/Closer to home.” that you hear on classic rock every day.

To me the people picking these people for the hall are worse than the baseball people that keep out Pete Rose. My theory is that the selection people pick the acts that they sang at the bars when they were in college!
