SEVEN FIVE RADIO

This is how I have been feeling all year long! This has been a blockbuster year for 75 Radio! I will go through some of the events over the past year and the people who made it special!

CPAC

In 2023, I was able to get into CPAC as a credentialed member of the media! I was going to go on Liberty Roundtable with Sam Bushman but as usual, there were issues with the wifi! I was going to be in the middle or radio row but there was no wifi so I had to phone it in. So I set up my own thing on Radio Row! I was a squatter at CPAC! This IS 75 Radio!

CHARLIE LEDUFF

I first talked to Charlie in 2014. We have been friends ever since. We talk more often off air than on air. It was April that Walter first got to speak to Charlie. LeDuff had no idea who Walter was until he saw “The Seven Five.” He had that “Oh shit!” moment and booked him for his show The No BS News in June! LeDuff has always stuck with us. Charlie was part of our best and second best show ever! We will always stick with him! Pax vobis frater.

ED HUEBNER

Ed is a great friend and a great guest and has helped this show out immensely. Ed invited me to his birthday party and as a gift I was willing to do 75 Radio at his birthday party! Ed has helped me to get myself together and introduced me to one of our future family members!

MIKE RAKEBRANDT

Mike is prior US Navy and retired NYPD! Mike was with us and Charlie on our July First show. He was also a fill in host and a guest. Mike has never said no to us! Mike will be taking a bigger role with 75 Radio in 2024!

JOHN STUBBINS

John is the host of Indivisible with John Stubbins. I contacted him when he mentioned that he was having a fundraiser for his film “American Anarchy.” He couldn’t been any nicer. I had a great time and invited him on the show. We had no show prepped and he killed!!

TRUMP COUNTRY CLUB

John Stubbins allowed me to attend the fundraiser at the Trump Country Club. What an experience! I look forward to working with John and company.

LUCIANO DE LA TORRE

Special shout out to Luciano. Like Ed and Danila, Luciano is a one of a kind! He is always a blast be be around! In July he allowed me to tag along with Ed for an awesome Fourth of July party! I could imagine that conversation. “Luciano, I want to bring a guest who wants to do his talk radio show during your party!? “Uh, ok?” If it wasn’t for Luciano’s generosity and opening his home, we couldn’t premiere the world’s first Radio Spokesmodel. 

THE FIRST LADIES OF RADIO

The term “First Lady” is usually reserved for just one lady. The wife of the president, governor, or mayor or one lady who pioneered a particular industry. Well, this is 75 Radio! We answer to nobody! We have two First Ladies we can’t be more proud to call family!

HEATHER POWERS MCBRIDE

I came to know Heather when she was the Press Secretary for then candidate Andrew Giuliani. She “got” 75 Radio.The campaign didn’t go as planned. Andrew moved on to WABC radio. Heather joined the 75 family. Besides filling in as a guest host and contributor, Heather also helped us behind the scenes. Heather also joined her old friend Andrew Giuliani this year on his podcast on WABC!

DANILA RODRIGUES

When I met Danila, I came up with the idea of a Radio Spokesmodel. She’s the only person I wanted for this position. I asked Danila to be our Radio Spokesmodel for a number of reasons. And she said yes! Besides the obvious, she has a great personality, good radio voice, gets my jokes and puts up with me! She also helped me on a number of other things. Danila’s first show on October 28 with me, Walter and Charlie LeDuff was one for the ages! More importantly, she has become a great friend.

WALTER

There would be no 75 Radio without Walter. We have been doing this show for over 5 years and have become best of friends, despite never meeting in person! Walter and I talk about once a week about what we want to talk about. And that’s it. We have no idea what we are going to say. We also talk about things going on in each other’s life. Walter was there when I was going through a tough time, and for that I’m eternally grateful. Walter is one of the most caring and sensitive person I ever had the pleasure to meet! And he is that man we watched in “The Seven Five.”

TALKERS MAGAZINE

The news/talk show “75 Radio Show” co-hosted by Walter Yurkiw and Peter “Scoop” Stanton announces that Danila Rodrigues joins the show as its “radio spokesmodel.” The program is syndicated by Liberty News Radio Network from its flagship station WMQM-AM/W227DQ, Memphis. The show says, “Danila has immigrated to America from Brazil to live the American Dream! And we couldn’t be happier! She has been featured in Moevir, Latinos Today and Pump magazines.” Rodrigues is the second female member on the show, joining special correspondent Heather Powers McBride.

When I saw that we made Talkers Magazine I was floored! Talkers is our Bible in our industry. What really made me smile was that Talkers mentioned all of us! Me, Walter, Danila and Heather!

As for 2024, I only see 75 Radio moving at full throttle! I’m already making plans and getting things in place! I want to thank my 75 Radio family, my new close friends and of course our fans! Stay tuned because you haven’t seen anything yet!

I was invited to a birthday party of the two ladies standing between myself and Ed Huebner. Ms Indu Fields and our own Danila Rodrigues! If I get invited to anything involving Ed and Danila, I’m there! The theme for this celebration was Black and Gold. I have two ties both gold. I took a picture and texted Danila which one should I wear. I was getting ready for work and was running late, didn’t check my phone and I picked the wrong tie!

I fly up to the restaurant and sure as hell, there’s Ed and Danila! Ed is always the first to show up at any event! Man after my own heart! And Danila looked like a million bucks!

I also met the man who had the privilege to photograph Danila! I forget his name (you all should know I suck with names! Just ask what’s his name and the lady who’s on my show!) he couldn’t been a nicer dude and we hit it off immediately. He is a proud father of a baby boy. We talked about my other favorite subject; our kids! The party was held at a place called Agora in Tysons Corner. I was supposed to sit at the head of the table with the Queens and Ed, but for some reason, I forget why and how, I ended up at another table. But; I don’t care. It was not about me. It was about the ladies. Besides; I bug the hell out of Danila and Ed with text messages! And the whole room was full of awesome people! I had a great conversation with my table! It was a four course Mediterranean dinner. I never had this type Mediterranean food but; I was too full for cake! The folks at the table were wondering how I met Danila and of course here comes the awesome story on how Danila is the world’s first Radio Spokesmodel with pictures on my phone and here comes the world’s first Radio Spokesmodel saying hello to the people at the table and checking in on my well being! That’s why I love this woman! It’s her party. She’s the guest of honor, and she’s checking in on me! I have food in my mouth and a drink in my hand talking about 75 Radio among awesome people. I don’t want to wake up from this dream! I am good Senorah! I was actually worried about her. She spent so much time talking and taking photographs I was wondering if she got to eat! Speaking of photographs, the gang at my other job wanted photos too! They love the fact that I have a social life and go to these social functions with lovely ladies! And fortunately the ladies were willing to lend a hand!

I’d send this as a Christmas card! I look like a lawyer for Grand Funk Railroad! In 1976!

I don’t know how this picture came about, but I’m sure I hogged a special moment! Thank you ladies……and kind sir!

This is probably my favorite photo’. We had to get close together for this one. I had the best piece of real estate in this photo! I wrapped my arm around Ms. Rodrigues and my cold hand was on her smooth, warm skin! Sorry Dani!

After the party the bill was settled up and myself, the nice photographer helped Danila and Indu with the gifts and escort the ladies to their cars. I would do the same for Walter Yurkiw but it would be for my enjoyment as it would be the last time that a mugger would attempt to harm anyone. We said our goodbyes and I gave Dani another bear hug! (Oh be quiet! You would too!)

I can’t thank Danila enough! She (along with our friend Ed Huebner) has done so much for me. I look forward to our next adventure!

Well the End of Days is coming. Pope Francis has allowed priests to “bless” gay couples. The clergy is not allowed to marry a gay couple but to bless them! We don’t care what men and women do to men and women behind closed doors. That’s between themselves, their partners and their religion. But; nature being what it is, a gay couple can’t procreate. And the church has been losing followers for decades! Grant it, we are all God’s children and they do belong in God’s house, but; they should not be blessed because they want to live the gay lifestyle.

Meanwhile Catholic priests still can’t get married to women. But they can bless gay couples. This is the same organization that had a code of silence that would male La Cosa Nostra jealous!

In America we used to treat our heroes with love and respect. But today we tear down and remove their statutes. Those still with us we try to bankrupt and throw in jail. There are way too many GI’s that are in Leavenworth, discharged or broke because they engaged the enemy. I’m also talking about Rudy Giuliani. In the 1980’s Rudy went after organized crime, wrestling its hand off the throat of New Yorkers. In the 1990’s Rudy cleaned up the city saving thousands  of New Yorkers. Other mayors and governors followed Giuliani and made their citizens safe. Congress passed the crime bill in 1994 protecting more Americans based on the policies of Mayor Giuliani. And on Black Tuesday Rudy was the face of America while President Bush was crisscrossing the country and Dick Cheney was in the White House bunker!

Now; Rudy has been booked in a local jail and the loser in a defamation suit where the plaintiffs were awarded $148 million because the Mayor accused the plaintiffs of voter fraud. This is why people don’t want to do the right thing anymore. All that blood, sweat and tears and sacrifice and they treat you like garbage.
