Bring back the Transit Police

By Scoop Stanton

With the recent tragedy in Chicago made me look at the recent stories about crime in our mass transit system. Another story that recently came out also in the CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) a security guard with a K9 was attacked. We already know about Bethany MaGee. And earlier this year Ukrainian immigrant Iryna Zarutska was brutally murdered by a savage on a train in Charlotte.

In New York last year Debrina Kwam was also set on fire. Then in April of this year a man persistently rapes another man on a subway.  The poor victim passes away. These are just the top 10 hits. Everyday in Washington, DC I see people of all day hop the turnstile. Then there are the fights, assaults, weed smokers, and people whipping out Mr. Happy for all to see! The jurisdictions are claiming the crime rates are going down. I would take that for a grain of salt as we as well as Charlie LeDuff have been documenting “juking the stats.”

Transit systems is facing the same problem as all other law enforcement agencies; no one wants to take the job, thanks to the defund the police movement. So to augment the lack of sworn officers, DC, Chicago and other systems hire private security guards! These security guards have no powers of arrest and are not trained as extensively as police officers. And since no one respects police officers anymore, what makes you think that the presence of security will work!? Another problem is that the cops on the job now are told to be reactive, not proactive. Don’t go looking for problems. Don’t try to arrest anyone. And if you are proactive, bosses will put paperwork on you, so too many cops go “coop.” They hide out in the various back rooms in stations and wait for a call!

The solution is simple; support your officers. Tell them to make arrests and be visible. And give them the benefit of the doubt. One of the easiest ways to reduce crime is to arrest fare beaters. Many of these people jumping over the turnstile have drugs, have weapons, have active warrants, or a combination of all three. I grabbed one kid for crawling under a turnstile and it created a drug investigation in Staten Island and Harlem!

Years ago, when I was “on the job” and came on right after the merger, I met many of the “Black Patches.” These men were warriors. Riding the trains through the gates of hell. By themselves. There were no two-man patrols in uniform! These men didn’t take no shit and carried themselves accordingly. I learned how to walk with my baton out without looking Iike I wanted to take batting practice. And these men never got heavy handed. They didn’t need to!

Naw, Chicago doesn’t need the National Guard!

Well Governor JB Pritzker and Mayor Brandon Johnson are correct and President Trump, the people of Chicago and you and I are wrong. Chicago doesn’t need the National Guard or an influx of federal law enforcement to clean up Chicago.

On November 17, 26 year old Bethany MaGee was set on fire by one Lawrence Reed. 50 years old and 72 arrests. MaGee was on a Chicago train minding her own business scrolling through her phone.

Then on the evening of November 21st, 300 juveniles from the Chicago area descended on downtown for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. The “youths” were fighting amongst themselves and Chicago police, one teenager was shot to death and 8 others were injured!

The biggest problem in Chicago, New York and other cities is the lack of accountability! 30 years ago Rudy Giuliani held people accountable, including his cops. And crime went down. These politicians now want to kiss the asses of the criminal element and let them loose! America needs to lock up their criminals!

A Birthday party 75 Radio style!

By: Scoop Stanton

Well, it’s that time of year. Walter and myself having a birthday. And like last year we had at the same venue as last year. I’m not going to name it until I speak to management. I told everyone that I was wearing new clothes from Swan Song clothing. Swan Song was the record label Led Zeppelin started. So I wore the same dark suit with a Led Zeppelin tie instead of the Rolling Stones tie! I rented a room and told the hotel that I was coming, bringing people and doing the show! The hotel couldn’t have been any nicer. But, we’ll get to that later!

Our Field Producer Ed Huebner showed up wearing a tuxedo, with a vest and no shirt. I didn’t blink an eye. This is 75 Radio! I told Ed we look like the Pimps from Hell! Brian Sussman also showed up in a tuxedo, with a shirt. I called him Double O nothing, but he earned the title 007, more on that later.

At the bar, the party was in full swing! The ladies looked amazing as always, especially our spokesmodel, Danila Rodrigues!

And our Field Producer Ed Huebner brought a photographer to the shindig! A very nice lady named Delaney Young She had the monumental task of photographing this event and she did a great job! Everything was going swimmingly! We cut the cake, and we also celebrate the birthday of the lovely Selamawit Yirga! Now it’s showtime!

I set up my computer and we are off! The first five minutes is red hot and rolling! Then the receptionist lady told me I couldn’t do the show unless I signed a waiver! I said I’ll sign it and I’m live on the radio! No dice! I find Ed who’s lighting candles for a birthday cake for Jackie Davila! I yelled: “Ed! The lady won’t let me do the show! Go fix it!” Ed was going to give the hotel staff a very bad day. I find poor Bian Sussman and put him to work. I asked him to find me a room, quick! And he did! I’m scrambling and setting up and Danila is coming on! Hot Damn! And Delany is there to photograph this special moment!

We’re back from the break and I’m about to bring Dani on and……………………………..we get shut down again! Meanwhile Ed is about to tune up someone and Brian is trying to let us to the show. The lights are off and Walter and Mike are doing the show and I take pictures with Danila in the dark!

God damn it she’s a beautiful woman! So I’m back on the phone and another guest who’s name I keep forgetting came on and wished me a happy birthday and to find a nice woman so she can change my diapers when I’m 90! And Mike said its a fact that I’m ugly and wear diapers! Then Ana Estevez comes on and talks to Walter! She loves The Seven Five! I have two more ladies come on as we’re talking about Dora the Explorer Eric Adams and the people going after Kash Patel’s girlfriend. We finish the show and go to a place called the 219 Club. It’s a cigar bar! But, me, Ed and some of the ladies are there and the R and B group were smoking! We all left and I went back to the room and drank more! And woke up feeling like poo!

I want to thank everyone who showed up! Just you being there meant a lot to me! Your cards and gifts were special! Special shout out goes to Ed Huebner for working his ass off! We just don’t throw around titles, Ed earned it! Shout out to Delaney Young for photographing this car wreck known as 75 Radio, Brian Sussman for jumping in for us, Danila just because, and Walter and Mike for keeping us afloat. The past two weeks were something else! You people make me what I am today!

“…..shall not be infringed.”

A citizen from Queens, NY is being sent to prison because he exercised his Second Amendment right and used a firearm in the City of New York. Charles Foehner, 67 is going to jail simply because the City of New York made it nearly impossible to possess his firearms! We’re pretty sure that Foehner would register his firearms if it didn’t cost the average citizen thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours to exercise his Second Amendment right!

Girlfriend gets HRT protection

Alexis Wilkins, the girlfriend of FBI Director Kash Patel has a protective detail composed by FBI Special Agents from the Hostage Rescue Team (HRT). At first it looks like the FBI Director wanted to keep his girl safe, and show her how much juice he has, and this nothing but a waste of taxpayer recourses and the FBI’s time.

But hold on folks. It turns out that Wilkins has received numerous and credible death threats because she is the girlfriend of Patel. (Note: the few women Scoop Stanton dates receives condolences.)

We asked a former FBI Special Agent if this was SOP. Here is his response:

“There needs to be a federal criminal law nexus. If the civilian is a witness for a federal prosecution and the threat is to prevent the witnesses’ testimony then the agents can be assigned to protect them”

Well Wilkins is not a witness but the victim/complainant. Making treats using the postal service, telephone or internet is a federal crime. Wilkins has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. She shouldn’t be harassed, intimidated, or threatened because who she spends time with.
