At the DNC Oprah Winfrey spoke about being the victim of racial inequality, gender inequality and pay inequality This was the perfect person to speak about the subject matter. Oprah is worth three billion dollars! Oprah, I (Scoop Stanton) am a straight white Christian male. I rent  a room in a house that looks like something from Sanford and Son, drive a 10 year old car, work three jobs, have no savings and  a mountain of debt, as well as a disagreement with the IRS. I would gladly trade places with you so you can see how the white male patriarchy in America have it so good!

I’m sick of all these millionaires and billionaires telling us how to live our lives and how America sucks, meanwhile they live high on the hog. Some of these people include: Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, Bill and Hillary, Barack and Michelle, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, and the Hollywood establishment. Winfrey should say that if she can make it, why not you. But; they won’t.

The fine people at Jack Daniel’s Distillery made a very wise choice.

They decided to drop some woke/DEI propaganda. This is smart as if you look at Anheuser-Busch, they lost a lot of money. Since the boycott of Anheuser-Busch products, I bought A-B products only twice. Once because the people I was meeting preferred a certain brand and the second occasion, I was looking for a single serve.

If there was a boycott of Old Number Seven Brand for its wokeness, it would be a financial disaster. As you can probably tell, Jack Daniel’s is my beverage of choice. I may wet my whistle with Jack Daniel’s whiskey once in a great while.

At a party for our friend Luciano De La Torre, Ed Huebner took a beautiful picture of Danila and yours truly. On the blog I gave Ed credit for taking the picture and buying my drink.

At Danila’s birthday party, while settling the bill, she asked: “Who drank all the Jack Daniel’s!?” A long-haired slob put his hands in his pockets, looked up and to the right, started whistling and started walking away slowly.

The “DC Power Trio” featuring Ed Huebner, Danila and myself should be a quartet as someone always seem to have a beverage in his left hand!

Long story short: boycotts work!

This is a verse of the song Rambling Man by the legendary Allman Brothers Band. The verse says it all; a mother gives birth on a bus. Half a century later, there is a bus; in Chicago for the Democrat National Convention about parenthood. But this bus is operated by Planned Parenthood.

This bus is not performing abortions, but is giving out medications for abortions, inflatable IUD’s and performing vasectomies. I’m sure mothers who are too late for the morning after pill are given directions to a clinic.

In the past, we said Planned Parenthood is nothing but Abortion Incorporated. They are all about abortion………….and sexual practices. Nothing about having a baby, raising a child or even abstinence. The Democrats make abortion seem like getting body piercings or getting a mole removed. It’s not. It’s a life changing event. Planned Parenthood doesn’t talk about the emotional grief a woman goes through after abortion.

Like I posted in the past; I went to a Planned Parenthood clinic. I also seen both sides of a jail, been in a prison riot, worked and lived in the ghetto, and been to funerals of loved ones. Nothing and I mean nothing is more disturbing or evil than sitting in a Planned Parenthood clinic.

Look; I’ll be the first one to say that raising children is an overwhelming monumental task. They cost a fortune to raise, they get sick, they don’t sleep, you don’t sleep, feeding, clothing, diapers, potty training, then dealing with schools, and your social life goes away as well as that other part. But; I wouldn’t give it up for anything. I love taking my kids to the amusement parks, arcades, the zoo, telling them from right from wrong and even taking my kids to my ex-wife’s church. I do this for the youth program and to learn the teachings of Christ. My wife’s not even Catholic. Don’t care. As for the 75 family we have 15 kids between the five if us. We are all proud of them.We all love them. Hell, I send Danila a ton of pics of my kids all the time (she certainly doesn’t want pictures of me)!

At the DNC the party bosses let the President of the United States speak. After 11:30 eastern time. The “fake, phony fraud” Democrats were waving “We Love Joe” signs that were passed out by the Ministry of Propaganda. Yeah, they love Joe. They love the open border, $3.50 gasoline, unaffordable groceries, unaffordable houses, unaffordable cars, and a nation that’s falling apart. They love the fact President Biden stands with upstanding people such as Robert Byrd. They love his treatment of his family members including his daughter Ashley who he got up close and personal with, the granddaughter he refused to recognize or the women and kids he sniffed, or the way he treated staffers over the years such as Tara Reid, or the female Secret Service agents or other staffers when he would go swimming naked. In terms of the public, they must love the way he deals with the public, especially those who disagrees with, calling them “dog faced pony boys.” The people also love Joe Biden’s judgment of character when he would go after Clarence Thomas or invite the family of George Floyd to the White House. The useful idiots love Biden’s 5 decades of dedication to his entire family’s fortune at the expense of the American people.  They love the fact that President Biden used the Department of Justice as an impartial entity. Its not like Biden unleashed the Justice Department as a Gestapo against his enemies. They loved the fact President Biden is the biggest defender of democracy. Weather its keeping Robert F. Kennedy Jr off the primary ballot, trying to jail Donald Trump or quitting the race midway and letting his running mate get the nomination without one vote; democracy has been defended on Joe Biden’s watch!

These people also love the fact he brings his personal tragedy into every event where victims needed to be comforted, especially concerning his deceased son Beau, or when he had a small fire in his kitchen while homeowners lost not only everything they owned but also family members. But he was there for the citizens of East Palestine; showing up many months after the fact. Private citizen Donald Trump showed up immediately!

The people also loved his lies. From Corn Pop to growing up in a Jewish, black, Puerto Rican neighborhood to going to the black church after Catholic mass, to driving trucks, to getting arrested with Nelson Mandela, to  remembering an Amtrak employee that was dead, to his uncle eaten by cannibals, to Donald Trump’s “both sides” and “losers and suckers” statements that never happened to telling black people “You ain’t black.”

His speech was exactly as expected. Loud, making no sense, all over the place. But this is the Democrat party. The party of elites and idiots. They don’t care.

I read an article from the UK’s Daily Mail about a famous Chicago sandwich shop going through hard times with labor and material costs as well as less foot traffic through its doors.  The clientele include people from the lower end of the economic spectrum. Many people interviewed for this article are voting for Kamala Harris. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!? Forget the Vice President for a moment. Chicago has been led by Democrats for what seems like forever. Taxes, crime, regulations, poor performing schools, lack of jobs; the list is endless! Add to the fact Chicago is feeding, sheltering and caring for illegal immigrants living in the police stations! Now add the Biden administration actions including opening the border, inflation, supply chain issues, high interest rates, overflow of drugs, and so on. Then you have Harris posting bail for rioters in Minnesota in 2020. The idea that people should vote for a person because of race, gender or sexual orientation is just ridiculous! These people are living through the Biden-Harris Administration. A Harris-Walz Administration would be more of the same. Or worse!
