Mayor Zohran Mamdani appointed Lillian Bonsignore as the new Fire Commissioner. And our response is: please don’t let this be another Kristen Crowley (former LAFD Chief) or another Robert Tucker or Laura Kavanagh.

The FDNY is the greatest Fire Department in the world. It needs proper leadership to continue to protect people and property as quickly and safely as possible. That’s it. We don’t need any more DEI because as we saw in Los Angeles last year DEI caused some Angelino’s to DIE.

At least Mamdani didn’t appoint another dude who’s family comes from money and who’s experience in fire protection is an Assistant District Attorney in Queens and the owner of a security company that he bought and did not start. Scoop Stanton briefly worked for Tucker’s security company. Scoop and all the other ex-gunslingers thought Robert Tucker was a “snot nosed punk.” And instead of serving those who are under his command like Lt. General Hal Moore, Tucker resigned.

Laura Kavanagh was an absolute disaster. She was more concerned with diversity than with staffing or being able to work with senior leadership!

As for Bonsignore, she did run EMS for the Fire Department. She know about manpower, logistics, response times, collective bargaining agreements, equipment, training, incident command and such. But looking at some of Mamdani’s other appointments we wonder if Bonsignore was appointed because of her knowledge and skill set or that she’s a woman who is gay.

YouTuber Nick Shirley needs to win the Pulitzer Prize. He went all over Minneapolis and exposed the massive fraud from daycare centers and Autism centers which the Minnesota taxpayers were soaked to the tune of up to nine billion dollars!

Shirley went out with another concerned citizen went out to expose this fraud. No ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, PMSNBC, or even Fox. Until now. Our question is where was the state, county and city authorities who overlook this!? Well, Tampon Tim was running for office. the Lt Governor was wearing a hijab with her favorite people and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey was sharing a plate of God knows what!

What really makes us even more angry is that these people are taking advantage of America’s generosity (and stupidity) when we let them in our nation. Meanwhile our own Danila Rodrigues who also traveled to our shores from elsewhere has worked her (beautiful) ass off since she got off that plane! Competitive bodybuilder, model, nurse, radio personality and now business owner! And she got nothing from us the taxpayers! And she still prevails! She is the model immigrant! But, since she loves America, and doesn’t portray a victim and works for everything she has, she is ignored. Except here on 75 Radio!

Recently Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan wore a hajib to a Somali market to show solidarity and respect to the Somali community! Flanagan was baptized in a Catholic Church! While it is not known if the Lt. Governor wore BDU’s or a bullet resistant vest to show solidarity to Minnesota’s National Guard or law enforcement community, Flanagan did wear a shirt that read “protect trans kids.”

And of course Lt. Gov Flanagan is running for Senate in 2026. I guess she doesn’t want to go down with the ship like Tamon Tim!  

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass was on Wolf Blitzer’s show last Friday and was asked about all the Hispanics becoming Border Patrol Agents. Mayor Bass replied: “Well, in a way, I think it’s sad.” Bass stated the Hispanics taking the position with Border Patrol are doing it for the money.

Well Madam Mayor, those Hispanics would take up jobs in Los Angeles, California, but the illegal aliens who thrive in your city are undercutting the wages of the unskilled, simi skilled and skilled jobs! Add to the fact that the cost of housing went through the roof and there hasn’t been any construction since all those houses burned down a year ago. Add to the fact that the quality of life in Los Angeles continues to decline with crime, traffic and poor performing schools. Half a century ago people were moving to California. Now they are moving out! We know why!
