Markwayne Mullin was recently sworn in as the Secretary of Homeland Security. Jimmy Kimmel went on his show during his monologue the other night clowning the fact Mullin was a plumber in a former life! Forget the fact that Mullin turned the family business a multimillion-dollar enterprise, but the fact he is a plumber and not an attorney from some Ivy League school says a lot. Mullin was the perfect choice. Mullin knows how to use his brain and his hands! When the SHTF, people in New York, DC, LA and every other big city people like Mullin will survive. All others will try to use their phone to order Door Dash or Uber to survive. Not going to work! Also plumbers are not saddled down with student debt and can’t be replaced with AI, or H1B visa holders!
As for Kimmel he “made his bones” hosting “The Man Show” which catered to blue collar men. And his co-host on his show was Adam Carolla. Before he made it in Hollywood, Carolla was a carpenter! Does Kimmel look down on his former co-host that helped jumpstart his career!?
