In the 1970’s Hollywood excited America with a series of “Airport” movies. These movies depicted incidents on airplanes that could result in a disaster. An aircraft travelling thousands of feet in the air at speeds over 200 miles an hour with hundreds of people on board!
Today there’s a new disaster at the airports. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) hasn’t been getting paid. This whole mess can be placed on Congressional Democrats.
Congress refuses to pass a budget to fund essential personnel from the Department of Homeland Security, because Democrats want reforms with ICE because what happened in Minnesota.
And here’s the thing. The Federal government is breaching a basic agreement when an employee provides a service for your organization, you pay them! The government hasn’t paid them. These men and women have rent, car bills. These TSA Agents are not well paid and live paycheck to paycheck. Since these people are not getting paid, they are calling out sick and quitting!
And since it’s the start of the Spring Break season, airports are getting more and more crowded as people are flying to vacation destinations!
Enter President Trump. His solution is to put ICE Agents at airports to speed up the screening process. And right on cue, you have Democrats becoming unhinged!
Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) went on CNN and made this stupid statement! Jeffries is telling people coming back from Disney World that ICE is going around your local airport shooing families like a bunch of gangbangers!
