Chicago has a budget deficit over one billion dollars. The $600 million on illegal aliens sure didn’t help! But Windy City Mayor Brandon Johnson proposed a tax on businesses with 100 or more employees that would charge $21 per employee per month! Would the money go for more cops? Of course, not. The money would go for crime prevention “programs.”
This man is so over his head its not funny. You want to stop crime, use the broken windows method. You want businesses to your city, don’t tax the hell out of them! Boeing moved their corporate headquarters from Seattle to Chicago. Then from Chicago to Arlington County, Virginia! In 25 years Chicago lost 300,000 residents. People are not going to move to cities where the taxes are high, government is a boondoggle, and the streets are unsafe!
