That’s him officer! He’s the one!

I was invited to the birthday party to our friend, guest and fellow patriot Alessandra Griffitt! She is turning 40 which I say hogwash! I say 25, maybe 26 years old. I took an Uber which meant I was going to imbibe in some adult beverages! It was cold as cold can be. I dressed warm. Alessandra and Danila dressed amazing! And the usual group of beautiful and amazing people were there. Too many to mention, but Danila did roll in so it was a “75 Radio” event! Unfortunately the other half of the DC Power Trio, Ed Huebner was sick at home. Alessandra was the hostess with the mostest. She had a spread out of food, telling everyone to help themselves and introducing everyone to everyone. She said that we’re all family, which is something I always say. Alessandra was telling everyone that I do radio! And I was doing it that night. I met her boyfriend who was a really nice man. He was the lead singer of the band UTC, or Under the Covers. I spoke with the other band members about music and these gentlemen couldn’t been any nicer or down to earth. I was speaking to countless other people as Alessandra was introducing them to me. It was her party and I felt like the VIP!
Then Danila showed up looking stunning as ever! We greeted each other and I pulled out my phone. Not for the start of 150 selfies that will eventually end up all over social media but to show her the greatest selfie with the two of us. I cropped the pic where it was all her and a sliver of my face on the right! It was getting close to showtime and now we have a “situation” as Tony Soprano would say. The band is playing and there is no quiet place except outside in the freezing cold. So out I went. Walter, Mike and myself. We gave a tribute to America’s Bravest, including the front line of the Los Angeles Fire Department. Then we lambasted the leadership of the LAFD for pushing DEI instead something more important such as………fighting fires. I run back in during the first break racing to the restroom. There’s Danila enjoying UTC. Hand on a railing. Here’s my chance. I put my dead cold hand on her warm, silky smooth shin which got her attention quickly! I smiled, said hello and went to the men’s room! On my way out I asked Dani for a selfie for shits and giggles! It wasn’t half bad! Except for some reason we were lit up like we were on stage!
The next segment with me outside freezing my ass off, we talk about US tax money to the Taliban and congestion pricing. We reach the halfway point and want to see if the ladies (Alessandra and Danila) want to go outside and come on the air. The band is killing, people are eating, drinking, having a blast and the two ladies have the opportunity to go out in 30 degree weather and talk on the phone! Both ladies politely declined. And I don’t blame them one bit! Who in their right mind would want to leave an awesome party to step out in the freezing cold to talk to Scoop! Hell, I didn’t want to go outside! Besides; there are plenty of opportunities for the ladies to come on “75 Radio.” After the show, it was time to get down! I saw Luciano who I haven’t seen in a minute. He had me laughing my ass off in 30 seconds as usual! Also; I was talking to another fan who suggested some stories to look up. And I met another potential collaborator. And I was hanging out with Danila, Alessandra and the rest of the gang. I attempted practicing my dance moves with the “75 Radio” Spokesmodel again. And failed. Again. As the clock was winding down, right on cue, I bugged Danila for selfies. I gave her my Android because she knows not only how to take a decent selfie and she knows how my phone works better than I do! And her phone is made by Apple! So here’s a few samples.

I said my goodbyes to everyone as folks were leaving. As Danila was getting ready to leave, I gave her a bone crushing hug goodbye and whispered three words I wanted to say to her for a long time. These words are not to be taken lightly and I really shouldn’t be saying this to the planet, but this is “75 Radio.” And those words were: “my belt fits.” I also said my goodbye to Alessandra and caught my pumpkin home. I couldn’t sleep and sent multiple pics and video’s to Danila who sent a thank you at O dark thirty. I went to sleep and woke up early ready to fight a bear! Hanging with these awesome people just makes you feel great! No hangover or anything!
I need to thank Ed Huebner, Danila, Alessandra, and everyone else whom I will forget for what you have done for me. I get to hang out with some awesome people being myself! I haven’t been this happy in a long time. Onward to victory! Below is the archives from Saturday. I asked Danila for a Halloween picture in her firefighter outfit as a tribute to the Los Angeles Fire Department. As always, she came through!
