Donald Trump was blasted for visiting the fallen at Arlington National Cemetery on August 26. Trump was also blasted by the Atlantic magazine for not visiting the Aisane-Marne American Cemetery for D Day in 2018 and calling the GI’s “losers” and “suckers.” Even though the story was never verified. Trump did not go to the cemetery due to poor weather conditions. John Bolton wrote in his book that Trump was mad because he couldn’t pay his respects.
So Donald Trump is criticized for not paying his respects yet is also criticized for paying his respects to the fallen. More on that later.

As for President Trump at Arlington Cemetery, he was invited to Arlington National Cemetery to pay respects to the fallen.
