Anti-violence advocate shot by police!

An anti-violence advocate was found unconscious in a car at a McDonald’s in Southeast DC with a pistol in his lap! The car was involved in a collision with the McDonald’s! When police arrived they woke up the driver Justin Robinson, 26 he grabbed his weapon. Police told him to drop it, a police officer stuck his service pistol in the car (dumb!), Robinson grabbed the pistol, and was shot and died as a result of his injuries.

Robinson worked for a group called Cure the Streets a “Violence interruption program,” This is something to reduce gun violence set up by the DC Office of the Attorney General.

And here’s the line we hear on every episode of “The First 48.”

“He was getting his life together, doing great. Doing good. He also went around the neighborhoods to help children, trying to better them, teaching them, taking them on jobs to get them off the streets,” the family-member added.

So, an anti violence advocate had a gun he wasn’t supposed to have, and grabbed a cops gun!? Something’s not right here!
