The above quote is from Cal Thomas who came on the show a number of years ago. That statement hit me like a ton of bricks! Since then, I have been doing everything I can to get my kids out of public schools. I even interviewed for a position at a private school to get my kids in! Now, I’m more motivated than ever! Thanks to the pandemic, private schools became as popular as toys at Christmas!
I got a call from my ex wife concerning one of my kids. On Friday March 15, 2024 at approximately 12:50pm one of my kids was walking from one of the trailers to the school building when a female that has no affiliation to the school (teacher, substitute, parent or staff member) approached my son and asked for a “high five.” Fortunately my son did not comply and was called a racist. My son and some of his classmates reported the incident to school officials. The school notified the police on the NON EMERGENCY LINE at approximately 1:30pm! I verified this with the 911 dispatcher. My ex-wife missed a phone call from the school at 2:29 pm. She finally spoke to someone who informed my ex-wife of the incident at 2:42 pm.
This is beyond reprehensible! It took 40 minutes to contact the police of a person who could have abducted my son or any other child at the school! Then almost another hour before my family was notified! I smell cover up! God forbid if one of my kids was abducted! I spoke to the school who just simply did not give a hoot!
