This past Saturday, supporters of Palestine were protesting outside the White House. The protest got so out of control that reporters and White House staffers were “relocated” for their personal safety off Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Some of the barriers put up were damaged. Its get better. Right at Lafayette Park, located right behind the White House, protesters were attacking the police! Fortunately the First Family was at Camp David. No arrests were made. And none of this came out until the next day or two. The Washington Post didn’t report the violence. What’s more shocking is that I live in Washington, DC and I didn’t hear about it until Monday! I could think of two reasons why this was under reported. The first is to no make the Hamas supporters look like a bunch of insurrectionists. You know, it’s a mostly peaceful protest. The second reason is lazy journalism. According to conventional wisdom, nobody watches the news on a Saturday night. Especially during a three day weekend in January.
75 Radio is different than everyone else! We are live when people are out having a good time. We break news such as a shooting outside Nationals Park in Washington, DC. During our show, I’m looking for live news feed for breaking news while I’m doing the show and Fox, CNN, MSNBC, and Newsmax are all prerecorded programming for the most part. I’m not just looking at Danila’s Instagram during the show! That separates us from everyone else!
