Well the 28th of October arrived. I spoke about it to everyone as if I got Super Bowl tickets on the 50 yard line! I went to a July 4th party at this location and it was one of our best shows ever! Guest Mike Rakebrandt and Charlie LeDuff were on as well as party guests including Ms Danila Rodrigues. I was really excited for two reasons. First she was coming and second she agreed to become the official Spokesmodel for 75 Radio! Since we’re doing the show at the same location I wanted both Mike and Charlie on! But Mike had a family emergency and Charlie decided to pass. No worries.
It was even better because The Political Cesspool was celebrating 19 years on the air. I was due on at 8:30. 8:20, still no sign of Danila.
I walk upstairs heading toward the door to call the Liberty News Radio hotline! And there is Danila!
HOLY FUCKING SHIT! Danila looked gorgeous! She was a sexy cop! She’d be sexy as Grimace or Charlie Brown! My heart was fluttering and I was short of breath! I gave her a big hug! I showed her my phone and showed her that I do indeed have her picture as my wallpaper! She knew I wanted I selfie. I fumbled with the phone and took one. It wasn’t that good. She took the phone and presto! My only concern was that there was too much me and not enough her!
I texted the photo to everyone! I felt that I just saw Jim Morrison! I was literally out of breath and not fully concentrated. I had a long ass speech. I poured heart out on how we as members of the Political Cesspool family meant to the show! It wasn’t my best report (refer to above photograph).
At 9pm we finally got some food and was just hanging out with the other guests. Then my phone rang. It was Charlie LeDuff. “Good evening sir.” I said. “Let me talk to her.” Charlie had a few pops. Do I tell Charlie now is not a good time and call tomorrow or do I hand Danila my phone? This is 75 Radio! “Danila, my friend Charlie LeDuff wants to say hello. Would you mind talking to him?” She took the phone. I guess a nice conversation was had because she was smiling and gave me the phone back. LeDuff was coming on! HELL YEAH! Things go better with LeDuff! As the clock was ticking I told Danila that I was going to set up and to enjoy herself and I’ll bring her on at 10:30.
It’s showtime! It’s me and Walter! Walter kills it with the Maine mass shooting, the flags being lowered and so on! Thank God because it was loud out there! Eight minutes in, here comes Charlie! Charlie compares us to Breaking Bad! Then the fun starts. They clown me on my costume, me at a party while Walter is in Tennessee. Then Charlie says 75 Radio is Walter’s show, not mine. 30 minutes of clowning each other!
10:30 arrives. She’s all set. She picks up the pair of never used headset for herself! And they are broken! So I give her mine. I asked if she would like a special song she would like to play as she comes on. She said no. So she got 40 seconds of this!
Now; it’s time to introduce Danila to the world. First question: “Why would you agree to be the spokesmodel for 75 Radio!?” She saw me at our mutual friend Ed Huebner’s birthday party sitting outside by myself when the party (and it was a party) was in full swing! Fortunately Ed, Danila and other guests came out to help me close it out!
Danila then went into her story. Where’s she’s from, how she got into modeling and physical fitness. Then we roll into the last segment. Then Charlie comes back on! Asks Danila her name in Spanish! I only told it 100 times!
The picture above is probably taken when LeDuff asked Danila if she ever saw the movie “Blow.” I had no idea where he was going with it. Was he talking about cocaine, George Jung, Johnny Depp or the slang meaning of that word! He watched it because he had insomnia! All three pictures Danila looks like she’s having the time of her life on a yacht in the Riviera. I look like I was calling a close horse race! I turned it over to Walter who told Danila to watch how much I drank and to watch me because I might take my top off! LeDuff’s call dropped again. Danila said Leduff went to the liquor store and we should get him back on! Right then and there I knew she was one of us! And we did! Walter asked Danila if she had red lisptick on her. She did. Walter then instructed here to keep it in her pocket because I might steal it! We tried to promote Danila’s social media. Charlie let us know he couldn’t find her! And the show was over! Danila loved the show! It was our best show ever!
Danila and I hung out some more. She was shaking her money maker in the dance basement. I would have danced with her but my Herman Munster boots would have crushed her toes! On the way out the door another party guest injured her leg. Danila ran back into the house, grabbed some napkins and covered the wound and applied pressure! I was very impressed. We said our goodbyes and gave her a hug so tight it would crush an automobile! Was this it!? Hell no!
The next morning LeDuff texted me and said that Danila is a good addition as she has sass and a good radio voice! Thank you Mr. LeDuff. That means a lot from both of us!
