Our brother Charlie LeDuff has won a Pulitzer Prize, wrote best selling books but would rather be known as just Charlie. As for me my accolades was knowing Charlie LeDuff! Now its knowing Charlie and Walter! Charlie has less space on his mantle as he won a local Emmy for his film “Kiss the Babies.” A film about the victims of gun violence who are innocent children. It’s a hard piece to watch.
This nation was founded on guns. We always had firearms. Up to the 1960’s schools had Rifle Teams practicing in the school! Now our streets are a battlefield. Our society is at fault. We always had poor people, racism, no jobs and so on. Now we have broken homes, absent mothers and fathers, no moral compass and certainly no consequences. I’m just as guilty. The solution is simple. Behave and teach your kids to behave!
