Walter and I were talking this week and he told me something that got me pissed off concerning one of our friends of the show and a possible business partner. Names will be left out. Walter was negotiating for services rendered for a price. The vendor told Walter to stop using another vendor (and friend of the show) for services as he can’t deliver as much return on our investment. Walter said no, that he was going to use his money as he saw fit. And if that means using both vendors, so be it!
Let me explain something; we take our show very seriously. We look for the best rate of return on investment, but we also take care of the “family.” I have been in radio for 15 years. All of it with James Edwards. We have been with Sam Bushman for 10 years and Walter for 3 years and are not planning to go anywhere. Then there’s Sean Bergin, Jim Lancia, Mike Garren. Our friends JB Gunner and Lonnel “Blaq Rosebudd” Harris on YouTube. Our driver Jeff Jackson, Mike at Topless Outlaws and everyone at I-75 Raceway and other tracks! The running joke is that no one leaves this place. That’s fine with me!
In 2015, when Dylan Roof killed people in God’s house. James Edwards and the Political Cesspool were in the crosshairs. James was getting death threats and the feds were speaking to him. He was concerned that our new brother Sean Bergin would not be able to get a “real” job in media. We told him to lay low. He said no, he’s standing toe to toe with these people. And he did. I asked James Edwards for his blessing to start a spin off of The Political Cesspool, out of respect. Not only did he give me his blessings but he did the voice overs for Red 42 and 75 Radio. Jim Lanica was a guest on the Cesspool then a correspondent and then hosted Red 42 with me. He got bored and left. But he came on 75 Radio as a guest co-host and as a guest, as well as coming on The Political Cesspool and will be back soon!
In 2017, Sean Bergin told us he was going to do a podcast for another outfit. Radio is a dirty, backstabbing business. All of us at Liberty couldn’t been more happier. We felt one of us is going somewhere else to spread our message. Me, Sam, and James promoted the shit out of Sean’s show on another network. Sean’s guests included: Sam Bushman, Jim Lancia and James Edwards which Sean introduced as “My good friend.” Sean gave it up as the production team was not up to par. In 2020, we sponsored JB Gunner’s channel on Youtube! That’s right one media personality sponsoring another personality! And not only did JB give us a ridiculous low price, but he promoted the shit out of 75 Radio!
So, in short. We will always stay loyal to the ones we love.
