Well, we made it to our second anniversary! Barely. It’s been a hell of a ride! Our first show played Red 42 bumpers because I didn’t get my musical choices to our producer extraordinaire, Sam Bushman on time! Last year we started 7-5 Day on July 5th . Our fans came out and showed their 7-5 spirit on our Facebook page! Our guest and fill in co-host Mike Garren became our not so sexy intern a/k/a our Marketing Director. Mike was instrumental in getting our T-shirts, getting us involved with Topless Outlaw Racing, and sponsoring Jeff Jackson in another series! Mike and Walt made it to the tracks where
they were treated like Kings. Mike marketed himself so well he got himself another gig on a sports podcast and is also with the Promotions Department at Boyd’s Speedway on the Tennessee Georgia line! And he still works for us! In 2019, 75 Radio was granted media credentials to CPAC. In 2020 we were not as we were not big enough media. CPAC has a love/hate relationship with Liberty News Radio. One year we are granted
access, the next we are denied. Not only are we die hard conservatives, but we have been very fair to CPAC. 2020 was one of the biggest conventions ever, so they let CNN and other deplorables in and let Liberty News Radio out. Like all other programming on Liberty News Radio, we are always ahead of the curve. In the summer of 2019, we talked about the crisis of New York City cops killing themselves. From rookies up to Chiefs! We had Mike Garren talk about his situation where he almost made a very bad decision.
75 Radio social media did get a lot better looking and classy as Ken Whal star of “Wiseguy” and “Fort Apache, the Bronx” and his wife Shane Barbi both follow us on Twitter. I tried to book them on the show, but they are very, very private. Speaking of Twitter, both of us got kicked off because one of Kenny Eurell’s ghost writers didn’t like it when I told him that I’ll break his fuckin’ neck if his neck needs breakin’. Walter got kicked off simply because he was mentioned.
We did some investigative reporting during the Popeye’s Chicken Sandwich shortage. People got so crazy over these chicken sandwiches that a man lost his life outside a Popeye’s in the ‘hood! I went there and left quickly as there were too many “Tyrone’s” standing at the makeshift shrine. I then went to two different Popeye’s in the suburbs where in an empty restaurant, I said nothing is about to go down and nothing is about to get real. We also started the mailbag segment. Jim Lancia and I were talking about it on Red 42, but I decided to give it a go. It seems like all the mail is hate mail geared towards me.
The guest list is impressive as the host themselves. Of course, we had our good friends Sean Bergin, Jim Lancia and Mike Garren on, but we also had stars of The Seven Five movie on 75 Radio. We had Mikey Dowd and Adam Diaz, who were great guests. And we had JB Gunner who is tearing it on YouTube, as well as Lonnel “Blaq Rosebudd” Harris. Blaq not only came on as a guest and flipped the script and interviewed me (Scoop) but he also came on as a guest host on 75 Radio and booked a guest! We also have had Joe Johnson who worked at the infamous 41 Precinct known as “Fort Apache” who was part of RMP Confessions. Retired federal officer Gary Byrne also was a guest and knew about Bill and Hillary Clinton personally. Luckily, he wasn’t a victim of “Arkansas Suicide.” In 2020 we got Twitter follower Retired Colonel Joe Martin who was in the Special Forces. Col Martin had to think I was a big bag of shit! Former Navy, fat, bloated. But; the Colonel knew his shit! He was giving us the scoop at CPAC while telling us that not only there is a Deep State, but there is a Muslim Deep State. And who can forget our biggest guest, World Series Champion and consistent bad boy Lenny Dykstra.
In 2019, Mike Garren approached us to become sponsors of the inaugural season of Topless Outlaw Late Model Dirt Track Racing Series. We also hooked up with Shannon Norwood aka “The Sneaker Pimp” from Full Moon Graphics who hooked us up with stickers for the drivers. For the 2019 season, the staff, the track and the fans treated us like royalty! We were all set for 2020 especially with Mike Garren at Boyd’s Speedway. Unfortunately, mother nature had other plans.
Speaking of covid 19 this little bugger really threw us in for a loop. Walter has been carrying the weight of the show because my wife and kids are now home all day everyday. Trust me, you don’t want the radio version of Jerry Springer every week. We are running on 5 cylinders, not all 8, but we have plans to get back on track bigger and better. I still can’t believe how our show has grown. When I first contacted Walter for the Political Cesspool, I thought he would be good for maybe one show. Our first phone call, I was wrong. Walter is one of the smartest people I know. If you notice, I don’t hang around dummies. And if you notice, nobody worth their weight leaves Liberty. With Social Media, and racing we are still growing. I am still having as much fun as the first episode as the last. When its no fun anymore then, I’ll call it a day. This show wouldn’t be
without the people behind the microphone. We need to thank God for everything he has given us. Sam Bushman for being very patient with us. James Edwards for his over the top voiceovers. Most of all we want to thank you the listener! Me, Walter and Mike meet the fans and we are humbled. You are the reason why we do the show. You are what makes this country great. You make this country move. You bring our fight to your corner of the world. This show is different than the others. You know we don’t sit here and just say Democrats bad and Republicans good, God Bless America and we need less abortions and more guns. We say they both suck! We also talk about the elephants in the room; race relations, QAnon, pizza gate, and what is really going on. If you turn on conservative talk radio all
you hear is the same old shit. And this is before the Corona Virus! We will not stop because you will.
We are looking forward to keep moving forward. We have a presidential election coming up. We have a shameful media looking to bury Trump. We also have racing coming up and a recovery to get to. I don’t know where this is going, but I can’t wait to get there!
