This week we remember the five year anniversary of the murders of New York City Police Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos. For those who have not been a regular listener to Liberty News Radio, here are the details. The war on cops began in early 2014 in Jersey City, NJ when Police Officer Melvin Santiago was murdered by yet another piece of street shit. There is where America was introduced to Sean Bergin. Sean gave his personal opinion on News 12 New Jersey on the lack of respect for law enforcement in the black community. American media turned their attention on Bergin rather than the murdered police officer! Liberty News Radio was the only outlet that welcomed Sean with open arms. Fox News had Sean on with Megyn Kelly. But, I’m willing to bet that Roger Ailes would not hire Sean because he (Ailes) felt he could not control him. Now, before Black Saturday, the anti-police climate was through the roof. Obama and Bill de Blasio were talking shit about law enforcement. Days earlier in New York people were protesting in the street chanting “What do we want!? Dead cops! When do we want them!? NOW!!” Then On Saturday, December 20, 2014, Officer’s Liu and Ramos were enjoying a break in their RMP (police car). The officers were working overtime. Both officers had families. Enter one disgusting human being that should have swallowed named Ismaayil Brinsley who was nothing but a burden on society all of his adult life. Brinsley was upset about the deaths of fellow bags of shit Eric Garner and “Professor” Mike Brown. He traveled from the Baltimore area to New York to “give some pigs their wings.” Brinsley walked up to the car and opened fire. He then fled on foot to a train station where he (thankfully) took his own life.
I was texting with Sean Bergin that day when he gave me the news. I then called him. He said he was going to the scene and if James Edwards wants him on, he’s ready. I texted James the news and his response was that me and Sean could do it at the last segment last hour as it was the Cesspool’s Christmas show, and he had the who gives a shit articles to read, and so on! He did not know how big this was. I called Sam Bushman to fill him in as Sean and I knew this was going to be big. Sam convinced James to run with the story. We were the very few outlets outside New York to broadcast the story! During the broadcast when Sean was giving his report I muttered “Jesus” under my breath hearing the gruesome details. The next week, Sean and I were back on as the two heroes were being laid to rest. Joe Biden was sent to Ramos’ funeral, praising him and New York’s Finest. Five years later, he’s trashing law enforcement. We said that there was now a “war on police” or a “war on cops.” WE coined the phrase first! Since that fateful day, either on the Cesspool, Red 42 or 75 Radio I make sure I read the names of law enforcement officer murdered in the line of duty.
Of course, some of the media were Johnny Come-Lately. They started to talk about the Liu and Ramos shooting after the new year. I guess all the reporters, producers, editors were all enjoying the holiday. But they were way too late. In 2009 4 Oakland cops were shot and killed by another asshole. The only national voice for those fallen was Michael Savage. The cameras stayed off until 2015, when Harris County Texas Sheriff’s Deputy Darren Goforth was murdered putting gas in his car at a public gas station. 2016 when the Dallas Police Department was ambushed. Five dead cops. Baton Rouge also ; 3 dead cops. At the memorial service in Dallas, in a room full of police officers mourning, POSUS (The Piece of Shit for the United States) was talking about racism in law enforcement! Of course no one (except us tu)rned to Bergin to talk about this, despite he was on the scene for a similar situation in Jersey City, NJ.
Enter Donald Trump. He came on the campaign trail as a business man. But he is no dummy. He has seen Obama attack the police with his words and his actions, such as sending White House staffers to Michael Brown’s funeral and put the DoJ on a witch hunt to destroy the life of Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson. Which they failed. I wish the DoJ would have put that much energy on the murder of Border Patrol to find out where the American guns came from! Trump came out publicly to say he does support law enforcement! He has attended FoP events and even brought up the family of fallen officer Miosotis Familia at a memorial service in 2018!
I wish that since Donald Trump was elected, that things would be better. Not really. Bill de Blasio got a second term to shit on cops. Now New York’s Finest are being assaulted with water and “air mail” from the 1980’s are making a comeback. Chicago elected a cop hater as the body count keeps climbing. Its so bad in New York that 10 cops took their own lives in 9 months! Since Liu and Ramos were taken from us, New York lost 4 more Members of the Service to the street shit: Brian Moore, Randolph Holder, Paul Tuozzollo, and Miosotis Familia. While Officer Familia lays in a morgue in preparation for her funeral and the city mourns a mother, and a guardian of the city, Mayor de Blasio goes to Germany to visit his son and protest the G-20 Summit!
But there IS a silver lining. As Officer’s Liu widow is mourning the loss of her husband, doctors tell her that they can save his sperm! She is now the proud mother of a little girl! Mrs. Ramos started a foundation in recognition of her husband’s sacrifice. Mrs. Tuozzollo ran the New York City Marathon in honor of her husband! The children of Officer Familia now lives in a house for free thanks to Tunnels to Towers.
I realize that cops were murdered before Obama and well after we are all gone. Policing in America has gotten much tougher. The job will not protect you It’s just not NYPD. I have seen it in other agencies. As taxpayers and citizens, we must demand that our protectors are protected. This includes the local Sheriff!
