Recently, 75 Radio had reached out to Keith Mascera aka “Keith the Cop” from Anthony Cumia’s Compound Media for a cross promotion of each other’s talent on both platforms. Back in 2014 Cumia appeared on The Political Cesspool to promote his new show. And to be honest it was one of the best interviews done by both Cumia and James Edwards. Our own Sean Bergin was a guest multiple times on the Cumia show during its infancy to boot!
Five years later I (Scoop) start my second spin off show from the Cesspool called 75 Radio with The Seven Five star Walter Yurkiw, who was involved in the NYPD corruption scandal with Michael Dowd. I thought it would be great if Walter appeared on Anthony Cumia’s show or Pat Dixon’s show. Well, due to Walter’s actions from over 35 years ago as a member of the NYPD, Mascera who retired from the NYPD, wanted nothing to do with Yurkiw. According to Mascera, it wouldn’t look good if a retired MOS was involved with a convicted MOS.
Well we went on Twitter, our blog and the airwaves to bitch how Keith wanted nothing to do with Walter when he had Artie Lange on the payroll at $750,000. Lange has a very large and very public drug problem along with the legal problems that go with it. Many times Lange would show up to work high, do the show high, if he did even make it to the show, because he was high. Talk about money well spent!
Now, enter baseball legend Lenny Dykstra. “Nails” was a guest on the Anthony Cumia Show! Dykstra has had many, many run ins with the law. Like Walter, he has done jail time. Like Artie, Dykstra has done lots of drugs. So now Dykstra has a plan to start a podcast on…….you guessed it: Compound Media! Note: we have nothing against Lenny Dykstra. He was a great guest on 75 Radio, we wish he comes back on our show sooner than later, and we wish him great success. Our issues is with Keith. He hires and/or books people with very checkered pasts (or who is still has issues with the criminal justice system), yet he can’t be bothered with a person who made poor choices three and a half decades ago because they both worked for the same police department. Or was it because of The Political Cesspool’s reputation on racial issues, despite Cumia saying the exact same thing on the air and on Twitter. No hypocrisy here!

stfu douchebag ur a disgrace to the nypd, Keith retired with honor. Nobody gives a flying crap about ur shit show, get a life.
