This is Police Officer Syed Ali. He was working a foot post at the East Broadway subway station on the F Line when a female complained of being sexually harassed by five drunk homeless skels. Officer Sayed told them to scram. They refused. They were gaining up on him. He pulled his baton and told them to get back. He did everything they taught him in the Academy. Three of the five bums were arrested and charged. The councilman for the neighborhood talked about how these bums needed city services! Bill de Blazio went on twitter and said attacks on the NYPD will not be tolerated. I guess it will be tolerated for members of the DOC.
