Yesterday I was diving through Downtown Washington, DC near the White House when I saw a number of Metropolitan Police Department and US Secret Service vehicles racing through the area. Streets were blocked off and I saw a Secret Service Uniform Officer standing in front of his vehicle holding his rifle. Something was up. I first thought it was something going on with Iran. But the sirens kept blaring. Something was going on.

I pulled my car over and went on Twitter and saw this:
Oh snap! I parked my car and walked to 17th and H Street NW. The shooting took place just after 6pm local time at 17th and Pennsylvania Avenue. A crazed gunman who already on the Secret Service radar approached a checkpoint. The gunman, Nasire Best, pulled out a revolver and opened fire. The Officers returned fire killing Best. Unfortunately a bystander was struck and was transported to a hospital in serious condition.

Fortunately, no one else was injured. President Trump was in the White House. The White House was on lockdown. I stayed on 17th and H Street NW, broadcasting on TikTok and taking pictures. I was interviewed by Tsutomu Takeoka from the Kyodo News based in Japan!

With this hot story, I had to bump my scheduled guest and called Tony Sabio who was a member of the Secret Service Emergency Response Team (ERT). I texted Tony and said I wanted him back on, and he was in! I also texted James Edwards and wanted to know if he wanted me on as this is breaking news and I am his Washington DC, Correspondent. He said yes!

As it was getting dark, I decided to head home and go online as it was getting cold and dark and it didn’t matter if I was on the scene or not as I’m on the radio! I went home, jotted down some notes and fired up the ol’ Commodore 64! At showtime of course my ISDN went down! In bad weather, T-Mobil wifi sucks and I’m on a landline! I haven’t been on the Political Cesspool since October. But you would think I was James’ co-host. I even did the lead in for the commercial! For the next segment, we finished with the shooting and talked about the Political Cesspool’s “Forth Hour” known as 75 Radio. James and I were talking about Tony coming on and how we were also known as “The Political Cesspool After Dark” with some of our hijinks including film star Walter Yurkiw, friend of the show Gary Byrne and our spokesmodel Danila Rodrigues! The Cesspool was a blast as usual!

For 75 Radio, we hit the ground running! Not only was Tony on point, but Mike and Walter were also on running on all cylinders as usual! We also discussed the shooting in San Diego. The main issue is not people owning guns, but mental illness.

It was another epic 75 Radio! I know how Led Zeppelin felt when they first got together! And instead of uploading one of the pictures I took at the crime scene, I of course uploaded a picture of the beautiful Danila Rodrigues!
And since the identity of the shooter is now out, and the shooter is a black man; look for this story to go down the rabbit hole. This does not fit the media narrative. That’s why you have 75 Radio!
